You don't want to download any program to run programs compatible for windows XP,
you can find a built in program coming with windows 7, and it is very easy to do,
go to control panel and open troubleshoot, then select programs, click next, after scanning it will all the programs that installed on your laptop, then select any programs which has compatibility problem with windows 7,
then you can see one option to start that program with Windows XP compatibility mode,
after opening that software, click on next, and save that settings,,,,
finished....
you can fix all problems,
