My logitech remote is frozen on the starting activity screen, is there a way to reboot the remote?

I never dropped it or spilled anything on it, last time it worked was when I sat down and turned the tv on. I then placed the remote on the charge and walked away. When I came back the remote was frozen on the starting activity screen and I couldn't do anythig with it.

I have tried placing my remote on the charger for a few seconds then I take it off again but that does not help.

Yep, same problem. Frozen on the "Starting activity" screen.

I tried holding down the power button, hoping it would restart the remote's interface, but it did not. Seems to be no way to reboot the remote. Maybe eventually the battery will run out and I can restart it.

Also apart from it being frozen in activity it has a pause sign showing on the watch foxtel icon. How do I get rid of that? Perhaps that's the problem. Anyone else have the same thing?

Activities button won't work

Have you tried the "help" button? That usually rights anything wrong with the unit, by itself.

If not, connect it to a PC, and let it re-program itself.

Take out the battery. Re-install it. The remote will reboot. Make sure you get the latest firmware after it has rebooted.
