Restore your camera settings to the factory default:

Err30 indicates a problem with the camera shutter. Turn off the camera. Then remove the battery, take out the memory card, and then remove the lens. Clean the lens contacts and replace the lens (make sure that it is a Canon lens). Then replace the memory card and the battery. Then turn the camera back on.
If the error recurs, the camera needs service. Contact Canon.

To reset it to its factory settings, you have to enter its service mode option. Do not change any values there if there is not necessity. Select the factory mode option only. After entering the service mode, and have done the settings, it is a must get out from it, by using the exit option. All procedures are given there in detail.
