Unplug the power to the Chromebook and take out the battery.
The internet light on the router SHOULD be green whenever it is connected to the internet.
remove your battery and power from it for half an hour then plug just the chromebook power cord back in and see if it turns on without the battery in. if it does then unplug put battery in then plug power back in and try to turn it on again if it doesn't come up with the battery plugged in with the power plugged in you may need a new battery. the chromebook should run good without the battery but you wont be able to use it when you have no power around.

The fuse is located in the Power Distribution Center, this located under the hood, passenger side, right behind the battery. Open the lid and read inside witch fuse is the right one.
