The only way is to pull out the dishwasher ,unhook the latch and then unscrew the door panel.your dishwasher is installed with 2 screws to the underside of your countertop. its tricky but youll have to remove them adjust to leveling legs down this will give you more room to get some head bit in ther to remove the screws if its out then slide the d/w foward ,remove the strike plate door will open then you can get your dishes out first

Asko d3251 randomly stopping during cycle.

The thing that immediately comes to mind is a faulty door switch or latch. The door switch can be replaced and you might be ok. But the latch would be more tricky to check. Sometimes if dishwasher is not level or if the door springs are misalinged the door tends to slip and release the latch due to pressure. It works when you open and shut. But not sure about the night time cycle. That sounds a bit creepy if it starts again by itself. Why not put a tape around the door and then start. That will help eliminate the obvious ones. The other thing that exends dishwasher cycle time is the lack of adequate water temperature. Could be heater or thermostat or both.

Thanks for using FixYa. Sorry, but I don't have good news for you, unfortunately it is time to replace the door latch, hope you understand there is nothing else that you can do with the latch as every other part is working fine. Please accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
