Is your Xbox still under warranty? You might need to get them to fix it as it might be a hardware problem.

If it's only one red ring, this is known as general hardware failure. There could be a whole number of things that could be wrong. Your best bet would be to send it in to Microsoft or take it to a Tech store.

Yet another case of bad capacitors on the power board.
These monitors are well known for this issue, but they live a long time past when they should.
Easy repair, but if your not confident around electronics drop it to your local TV repair shop.
