You could find it via-internet. You should follow Google, ask "BCK-218 Satzuma guidebook manual" and open first two links. I do not remember the website but you will easily get this.
First, the service manual for your Coby DVD 218 is not available. The manufacturer of the player did not produce a service/repair manual for it.
The problem might be from the audio cord of the player. Use another audio wire and observe the sound. Also, there are more that one audio out put at the back of the player, you could test other audio outputs on the player.
I just hope it is not an audio output problem as you guessed, because fixing is not as easy as you think.
