Everything seems to working except the compressor will not run. any suggestions?

If compressor isn’t running at all and is room temperature to the touch, your thermostat is most likely bad.

It may be on "superfreeze", if there is a yellow light, or it may be set for too low a temperature (try setting the thermostat down to 1 or 2). Check the condenser is clean, and fan working if it has a fan, Check lid is closing properly and the ambient temperature isn't too high.. Lastly, if all else working correctly, suspect short of refrigerant.

I have an igloo frf1050 10.6 cu ft chest freezer. power (red) and running (green) lights are on. compressor hums for 6 to 8 sec. then shuts off. no cooling or freezing. any help?
Compressor may be bad. Also could be the relay that plugs into side of compressor that’s bad. Inexpensive, easy to replace part if it’s the relay.

Fallowed instructions for start up. twice. let the product set over night and did start up again and fail. the freezer will not chill more than 70. compressor seems to humm but not doing the job.
U might want to replace the start capacitor that gets the compressor to run. If that does not do the trick and you are sure that the compressor is receiving power from the thermostat then you have a compressor problem.

Igloo mini fridge not getting cold
