2004 Polaris Sportsman 600. It is running like it's jumped time?

Question moved from Cars and Trucks to model category.

I have two thoughts on this.

You either have water in the electrics from hosing the mud off, especially if you used a power washer.

Or

If mud and water got into the stator and coated the sensor for the CDI. It is magnetic, but in close proximity.

Basically strip and clean and spray WD40 in connectors.

Other ideas here. The ATV forums are a great resource.

How do you remove the sprayer arm from a GE potscrubber 600

Thought I had a problem with the spray arm or pump because water was not flowing enough to spray the upper rack. But it turned out it was a simple part missing: the "check valve" that is in the lower neck of the spray arm assembly. It's a $10 part. Part #WD1X5488 for GE Potscrubber 600.

Whirlpool awm 8121 water not coming into machine

Turn off water supply behind machine. Unscrew supply hoses from back of machine. They are screwed into your watervalve. Where they attach there are screens that can become clogged from lyme deposits etc. Use a toothbrush or spray bottle (like a window cleaner spray bottle) to flush the debris. Consider installing new washers in the ends of the hoses (garden hose washers work fine.) Reattach hoses to valve hand-tight. Do not cross thread it, Do not use teflon tape or silicone. Once hand tight tweek the connection 1/4 turn more with pliers. If water still does not enter tub replace vatervalve. If you don't know where to get a valve start new post with full model # and what you need. I will find you one quick.
Hope this helps. Good Luck.

I have a new iron which I dearly love. It all of sudden began spittin dark tarry substance How do I clean It?

The black tarry substance is lime residue, which often comes out when the iron is not completely hot. One option is to use filtered or distilled water in the iron instead of tap water, but that will not instantly clean it, but it may decrease the problem in the future.
It's probably a good idea to flush it through by spraying/steaming with the new filtered water. You could even add a few drops of vinegar to the filtered water to assist cleaning the iron. However, don't use that vinegar water to iron the clothes, as it may stain. replace the water (with fresh filtered water) and lightly flush (spray and steam a few times).
I hope this has helped!

I have the Coleman powermate 2400 PSI pressure washer and on initial start it sprays and has great pressure. But once I release the spray handle it will not spray again, not even one drop of water. I have...

Sounds like the valve in the handle is sticking closed. May have a broken spring, or maybe a part is stuck..
I say take it apart, and the answer will present itself.. Play with it with nozzle out too... Maybe something is stuck after storing so long and will loosen up.. Fingers crossed

Bandit 600 starting problems

Sounds like a weak battery. Swap batteries and see if it will start.
Is the kill switch on? Does the side stand have a kill switch? Is it working properly? Is the gas valve on? Got gas? Check fuses. Got spark?

Clean the fuel system
Remove the water trap bowl at the bottom of the petcock, (gas valve). Any water or trash in the bowl? Drain a cup of gas from the tank. Any water or trash in the cup? Dump it, clean it and re-mount it, ( not all bikes have a water trap bowl ).

Drain the carburetor. There should be a screw on the lower side of the carb float bowl. Remove the screw then replace it after the fuel drains. Turn the gas back on and wait a minute for the carb to fill with gas. Install a new stock spark plug and try to start the engine. If the bike doesn't start and run properly then shut off the gas and remove the carburetor from the engine.

Remove the float bowl and clean the entire carb with a spray carb cleaner from the auto parts store. Wear protective goggles to avoid getting spray in your eyes. Spray into all the little airways and fittings in the carb. Remove the two screws on the outside throat of the carb and spray into the screw holes as well.
< < READ CLOSELY > >
Be sure to put these two screws back in the same hole they came out of. IMPORTANT > do not tighten these two screws down. Only screw these in until they LIGHTLY seat. Now turn each screw one and one half turns outward. Put the rest of the carb back together, clean the air filter and install the carb. Let the float bowl fill then start the engine. Set the idle speed with the idle screw. This process should get you back on the road.

Cannot remove lower spray arm ge dishwasher GSD5911

Some spray arms out there are reverse threaded, however the one that you are dealing with should be regular threads. Should be an opening at the very bottom of the spray arm where you can stick a screwdriver through and use both hands(one on each end of screwdriver) and carefully loosen it. Make sure you get the new one on as tight as you can by hand, then check to make sure its tight by using the screwdriver again. With the screwdriver through the hole, and one hand on each end of it, just apply pressure clockwise, but you do not have to force it. Hand tight plus an ever so slight turn with the screwdriver should do it. Don't forget that anytime you are replacing the spray arm, you must always check once the new one is in place that you do not have a leak underneath the dishwasher. Also remove all water before you start replacing the spray arm to prevent water from leaking once you break the seal when loosening the spray arm.

How to wax the chain on a gsxr 600

clean the whole chain. Make sure to wipe off as much kerosene as you can before you spray the wax on it. You don't need to spray on too much...just spin the chain around once while you spray and then let it set up for 15 minutes or so. How often? If it looks dirty, clean it. Every 500 to 1K miles depending on your riding conditions. Job should take you 20 minutes or so from start to finish including the set up time..
