SOURCE: HP Elitebook 2530p power lights stays on after

are you switching off, or just closing the lid? On most laptops, closing the lid just hibernates and constantly uses power, it can be changed in the control panel power options.

SOURCE: The battery light blinks after shutting down my hp

The same thing has been happening to my tablet lately, as well. However, on mine, that corner of the computer is slightly damaged (from shoving it into my backpack too roughly, i guess). Is your hp damaged? Otherwise, it's probably a hardware problem.

SOURCE: Fit my HP EliteBook 6930p?

accu HP EliteBook 6930p 100 percent compatible with you HP EliteBook 6930p. I bought two Compaq Presario CQ61 batteries from http://www.accukorting.com/hp-elitebook-6930p.html two weeks ago, I felt very surprised, because it fits nearly as good as the original battery.

Hello, I activate th drivelocker on a HP Elitebook Folio 9470m. I know the password but the system doesn't ask for it at boot. Any ideias?

you did it all wrong, did you ask at HP.com forum first
we are not HP ,and the rules here are complex.
ask at HP here is the link.
here they are,
https://h30434.www3.hp.com/

I hope you backed up your data first.
why use this feature all, CIA does but who else. IDK
its very risky to use. and makes service way harder.
and more expensive.. why use it? (USA.GOV contract work?)
if yes why would you ask on fixya that. ask HP. always and directly.

How do you stop the cursor from jumping on an elitebook folio 9470m

go to control panel / mouse to open the mouse properties window. along the top of the window should be several tabs. select the tab for touchpad or maybe advanced properties. this tab allows you to adjust the touch sensitivity of the mousepad, momentum, and other properties. adjusting to make it less sensitive may reduce the tendency of the cursor to jump or move on its own. failing that, go for an external mouse!

I dropped my HP elitebook 6930p. it won't turn on. the blue on/off light blinks once every 5 seconds. what should i do?

Here below are possible causes and troubleshooting steps of laptop that can't power on, hope it may help:
Possible causes:

1. AC adapter failure.
2. Power jack failure.
3. Motherboard failure.

Possible troubleshooting steps and repair solutions:
1. Test HP EliteBook 6930p charger with a digital multimeter. It's possible that you have a failed AC adapter. If you don't have a multimeter, test your laptop with another known good AC adapter.

2.It's possible that power jack (socket where you plug the AC adapter) is broken. Remove the motherboard and take a closer look at the power jack. In some cases you can fix the jack by resoldering it on the motherboard. In other cases you have to replace the jack with a new one. Using a multimeter, test if the power goes to the motherboard through the jack.
