SOURCE: HAMPTON BAY CEILING FAN MODEL # UC7067RC

The best place to start with would be Home Depot. Since it is only a couple of weeks old you should have no problem exchanging it. This is their brand. They have a very liberal return and exchange program which should help you out.

SOURCE: i bought a hampton bay ceiling fan model uc7083t but i didn't

hi there i can help. There is a "dip switch" on nearly all fan remote units, much like a garage door opener has. To keep all the fans in your home from operating at one time, each fan needs a seperate "code". To use your other remote, you need to locate the receiver unit in the fan, usually in the "canopy". This is the bowl looking piece against the ceiling. then note the "code" which is the position of the switches. For instance, most have a block with 4 switches, and if the first is "on", and the remaining are "off", that is it's set code. This "code" can be changed to any combination of "on , off" that you like. BUT, you must also open the remote control and set it's switch to the exact same "Code", or order of "on off" as your Fan receiver. (Usually the control "Dip switch" is in the battery compartment.

I'm looking for a remote for a fan with model number e8196482h4zs. I do not have brand name and cannot find a manual

It might be a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan. That is my best and only guess. You can try contacting that company for confirmation. 1-888-434-3797 between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or the parent company Litex at 1-800-527-1292 between 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Have the model number on-hand when you call.

No use for me to speculate about a remote if I don't know the brand of the fan. For instance, when I list the following universal control for a fan, I have no idea what brands it covers or if that is even necessary to know for such to work. https://www.amazon.com/universal-fan-remote/s?k=universal+fan+remote

I need the manual for Hampton bay fan #E75795-AC434

Hello, Desiree -

Clarification: You are seeking an owner's manual for a Hampton Bay ceiling fan? If so, the Hampton Bay (ceiling fan) company makes it difficult to get to their web page listing their ceiling fan owner's manual.

This is the link:
https://hamptonlightingadvice.com/hampton-bay-ceiling-fan-manuals/
but you must do one of the following first:
* If you are registered with Facebook, you must log into your Facebook page. Then on the web page for the manuals you have to click on the Facebook Like for Hampton Bay.
* Tweet (if you are registered with Twitter) about Hampton Bay
* Use Google Plus to follow Hampton Bay ceiling fans
AGGGGGHHHH!

Ultimately the list of 78 ceiling fan manuals which can be chosen from for downloading do not have your model number. Most of the manuals listed have the model name of each fan. The manual for your fan may be in that list, but I am not going to click on each link to try to find the right manual, if it is even in that list.

I finally found the Hampton Bay (ceiling fan) company Customer Service number. I suggest you call that number and ask a Customer Service Representative how you can obtain the proper manual for your fan. This is the number:
855-434-2678
Monday-Friday, 8am- 7pm, Eastern Time
Saturday, 9am- 6pm, Eastern Time
You will need your product number when you talk with a Customer Service Representative. That is the number on the silver sticker on the top of the fan motor housing.

Bottom line: To me, Hampton Bay seems to have the MOST UN-HELPFUL process for obtaining an owner's manual.

Need remotes

In theory, they should. Try Hampton Bay first, and if not, check for aftermarket replacements. Those remotes are simple enough that there is no reason that they can't.
