My insignia tv keeps going off and on? It is only 1.5 years old

Hi my name is Lena I have a sense 22-in LCD TV DVD built-in model number s2201 ac120 volt 60-hz, power consumption PC 52w. And I have a radio shack remote 3 in 1 15-1916 remote that I'm trying to program to this TV. Although the DVD doesn't work on the TV, there was a VCR / DVD playerconnected to the TV but it had its own remote. So I want this radio shack three in one remote programmed to the since 22-in DVD flat screen programmed. I just don't know how to go about it. Can you please help me.

No problem, This issued will be only resolve with regular TV's, not LCD or PLASMA Tv's. Just press TV botton locate on the top leftside of the remote, right after hold the SETUP button for 3 seconds once the TV botton blink twice go and press 991 then 1 again, right after you have pressed 991 the TV botton will blink twice and when you press 1 will blink twice as well, after those steps keep pressing the channel up botton until your Tv shut off. Unfortunately, you will need to schedule service for your TV. Repairs can be arranged by calling 1-888-237-8289 in the U.S. or 1-866-237-8289 in Canada.

try while tv is playing unplug it to reset it,, if that dont work your belt or head on player bad or need lining up

Check your warrenty to see if the tv is still covered. If not, I would just buy another dvd player and attach it to the tv, it would be cheaper then repearing the tv.

Since the TV is less then a year old and still under manufacturers warranty, I would suggest to take back to the vendor to get it fix because this LCD behavior is not going to get any better.
The failure on this TV is related to a power supply in most cases if the TV is turning OFF by itself or needs to be unplug to let cooldown and it works afterward.

Same thing happened to me......The tv repairman replaced a transformer, and it was doing ok.

If your TV is less then a year old, still under manufacturers warranty.
It seems like the power supply failed on your TV.

Hi, need some help here. I have a flat screen tv that will not go on. Its not even 2 years old. Yet I had to keep trying the wall outlet to get it to turn on. Now it won't go on at all. The tv light use to be blue when it was on. Now its pink? Should I ask santa for another, or can this be repaired without too much fuss/cost? Thanks!!!!
