Depending on machine, most have a settings mode and or troubleshoot mode, in there is normally a cartridge supply, printer alignment, etc. Or under the reports icon a supply status to print

My Toshiba estudio 4511 says call service

Your CYAN is one of 3 colors the "Smart guys" came up with to make 252 some colors. Between Cyan Magenta Yellow and the ever so present Black you can make all your colors. Obviously you don't need the three C,M,Y to make a black and white copy. So the issue remains that a low or empty Cyan (pronounced S-eye-ann)
A couple differant issues I've run into since the creation of color copies near 2003 is A pull tab on the toner isn't pulled off before inserting the tube. Another is for several possible reasons the toner just isn't getting down into the developer mixing auger. There is also, upon occasion a situation that the motor that turns the toner auger inside the new toner cartridge doesn't turn enough/properly/ or at all. These days that will almost always throw a code in the display window. My 23years of Toshiba tells me try your C cartridge, play with it a bit and make sure its in right, with tab pulled. another tool is monitoring how long it tries to and the Cyan, does it attempt to restore it' levels for about 90 seconds or is it immediately tell you there's a cyan issue? Can you hear the motor and toner bottle turning? It should tell you "adding Cyan Toner" or even "Check Cyan Cartridge" worst case scenario you call Toshiba business Solutions and they vacuum it all out and do some adjustments......could be a good thing With Toshiba you get a lot of bang for your buck, meaning: a service call is good every once in a while. Your 4511 is a work horse you won't regret $pending for service. ~~~~~> SC

C390

[C390] Auto-toner sensor-C abnormality (Cyan)
<Color toner low density>
When you check the printing status to find out that the color printing ratio isless than 5%, color toner low density might be the cause.
Turn the code 08-2692 "Prevention of color toner low density / ON/OFF setting" to ON, and then set number of sheets to be judged at the code 08-2693 "Prevention of color toner low density / Judged number of sheets setting".

If the color printing ratio is 5% or more, check the following.
(1) Is the developer unit installed properly?
(2) Check if the connector CN340 on the LGC board isdisconnected from the auto toner sensor or the harnesses are open circuited. Correct if necessary.
(3) Check if there is any foreign matter such as toner in the drawer connector of the equipment and fuser unit or the connector of the auto toner sensor. Remove if there is and reconnect it.
(4) Service or replace the auto-toner sensor.

Hi i cannot print any documents ive typed with words or school information it keeps saying STATUS:TONER LOW ??

Based upon your question, which is a bit vague, you must have a laser printer. What the printer is telling you is it has insufficient toner (some incorrectly mis-state "toner" with "ink". Laser printer = Toner. Inkjet printer = ink) for the print job to occur. If you have a laser printer which prints in only black (black and white), then you can try this:
Black only: Open the toner access panel on your printer, remove the toner cartridge (it will easily pull out), and GENTLY shake the toner cartridge from side-to-side . What you're doing is allowing toner (ink?? It's more of a powder-like substance which consists of ground-up plastic) to shake evenly to the bottom of the cartridge. Then, put it back in. IMPORTANT: This will not work for long. You need to get a new toner cartridge soon!
Color: If you have a laser printer which can print in color (based upon your description, it sounds like this is NOT the case. If you have a color laser printer, it would display to you that a particular color is out of toner), then do the same thing as described above... but for EACH toner cartridge.
It still doesn't work: If this does not work, then you're out of toner (Ink... sigh). You MUST replace your toner cartridge which is out of toner. If there was another way to do it, I would tell you. When you're out, you're out.
Please let me know if you have any further questions by doing a REPLY to this answer. I'll be happy to help!

My Printer is HP C1215, All toner are new, Printing double impression when color printing

I have found this to be a defective Low Voltage Power Supply. Many people will tell you to change fuser, transfer belt etc but if you are using genuine toner cartridges then I can say that it is the power supply as i have said. This is situated at the top of the printer under the top cover.

Red light is flashing next to the triangle on my HP2600n laserjet. Do I have to replace all print cartridges that printer says are low

You only need to replace the light indicated toner cartridge but if the others are reading low be prepared to change them. You can do a supplies page printout from the printer menu, click on information and scroll down, this will tell you how much toner you have left in each cartridge

Konika Minolta 2430 DL won't let me print

Look through the menus on the printer for a setting for "Low Toner" -- the choices of what to do are usually either "continue" or "stop" or something similar (my 2430DL has this option setting) -- set this option to "Continue".
My 15 year old HPs also have a similar setting. However, this will keep it printing when the black runs out, so you will need to check your print production run visually as you go along to make sure the quality is what you need

Faded copies

This is usually caused when the toner cartridges are low on toner, or the drum unit needs to be replaced. Try to produce a supplies status page and see what it tells you.

Hp laser 4500 says toner is low or out even after new cartridge

There is a toner sensor in this printer that shoots a beam of light through the toner cartridge. As long as the toner is full and blocks the light, it sees it as being full. If it were the sensor, it would tell you this for all the toners, though. The printer also calculates how much toner may have been used and gives warnings based on that. It could be that this isn't getting reset after you change toner. You can reset the toner gage by going into the reset menu and selecting "New xxxx cartridge" and changing it to YES.

Oki 3400n

First thing to do (if not yet done so) is to access the printer through the web admin interface by typing the printer's IP address in a browser. This gives a lot more information than the blinking lights.

The Status page of the web admin interface may say "toner low" or "toner empty" or "error on toner sensor" and that will tell us which color cartridge to handle.

Note that the OKI 3400n has the annoying tendency to fail when loading in a new toner cartridge: a color is low or empty, you put in a new color tube and then the printer says error on that very color! This can be fixed by pulling out the drum of that color (the drum is that entire block which includes the color tube and the container below it; avoid touching the shiny green roller), and lightly tapping on that drum to evenly distribute the new powder inside the container.

You may have noticed that the once the color tube is loaded in, what it does is to empty its content into the container below. Which means that it's no use swapping color tube once it's installed because the color tube is empty by then, and is just kept there to prevent the ink powder from spilling out of the container. The caontainer itself has 5 electrical contacts on its side used to measure the powder content and the lifetime of the drum.
