How do I clear E602-0801 error from canon Imagerunner c3525i?

e001 is a fuser error. it might be able to be reset, but should be looked by a tech.

SERVICE MODE
*28*-press the additional func button, 2&8 at the same time, and the additional func button again.
when you have done it correctly, the screen will change and it will say service mode across the top.
Then select:
copier
func
clear
err
press the done or ok button on the lower right side of the screen.
turn the machine off at the black switch on the right side, wait 10secs, turn back on. should work.
****DONT MESS WITH ANYTHING ELSE IN SERVICE MODE YOU CAN REALLY SCREW UP THE MACHINE.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!******************

Touch the Function Tab, touch the Clear button, touch the ERR button, when it is highlighted, press the OK button at the botton of screen. Power Cylce unit. If it comes back up, may have been a fluke. However, if it comes back, check your Fixing Assy for jammed paper, or damage to the Fixing Film (Upper Roller). Replacing the Film is not hard. After you remove the Fixing Assy., its a couple cables and springs. Rather on the easy side for Film replacements. Remebmer, on these models, the Film is also the Heater and Upper Fixing Roller. The Film is most likely on the pricey side for new, believe you can find rebuilds. Just keep in mind that the Film is still a lil' bit cheaper then the whole assy., and 8 out 10 times, its the Film that fails in the asssy

its waiting for the command from the computer. in order to use scan you have to down load the canon scan tool from imagerunner.com / support/ downloads/ office products/ then canon network utilities. look for network scan gear tool ... down load save open run setup then open the program and you can either let it search for a scanner or you can put in the IP adress for the copier. then under your scanning software ( ADOBE PRO) eg. you selesct the scan gear tool as the scanner. to scan a doc you put paper in feeder select scan online then from your computer tell your software to scan good luck
