I'v had my i9 p168 for about 8months and last night the screen went blank but the buttons stayed lit, i couldn't turn the phone on and have 2 remove the battery and pop it back in in order to get it to work. even then it doesn't last long before it goes back to blank screen with lit buttons and freezes in this state. earlier the phone switched itself back on from this state and worked for about an hour allowing me to text but cut out agen when i made a phone call. the charger charges the batteries normally and says they are fully charged. i don't understand why or what i can do to make it work again

hi.. when the unit is on try to press and hold the reset button for 10
seconds and then release if this will not work charge the unit for 3 to
4 hours using a wall adapter and if still not work try to check if
there is a latest firmware update for the gps then download it.
same problem, broke my screen, ordered a new screen off ebay and replaced it. now it works fine most of the time but sometimes external display freezes. sometimes goes black, sometimes goes multicolor pixelated (full screen, in blocks, or lines) when this happens sometimes touchpad still works, others not. removing battery usualy temporarily fixes.
u have to wait till the screen will be black. I had the same problem with my sansa. it can lasts 1 or 2 days. after screen is black and then do following:
2. change lock switch to orange position
3. Press and hold rec button (at left side)
4. while pressing the rec button, turn the player on
5. it will appear the boot menu. connect the USB cable and try to continue the firmware
6. if it doesn't work, do a firmware downgrade. download this file:

7. execute the application while in boot mode

Ther eis a stand by function on the Television. If you have the owners manual read about that function. Th ered light stays on because it is programed to come on a t a certain time. Go to menu and find the stand by function.
