You may have to change your WI Fi password to remove the ! and change it to a number instead. If you do this, however, every phone, PC etc that uses the wifi will also have to have its password changed otherwise it wont connect as it will look for the old password.

SOURCE: Lexmark X4850 Wireless wont connect

Had a similar problem with my router, which was a 2WIRE router (furnished by AT&T - I have Uverse). Fixed it by going to the router's GUI (mine is 192.168.1.254), click on "View the home network". On the right side of the resulting screen, there is a section titled "wireless settings". Under that, click on "edit settings". Enter the login information (the default password is on a tag on the router). The next screen is "Configure the Wireless Network". Scroll down to the bottom and click on "Rescan". When I did this, my X4850 miraculously connected and started working.

SOURCE: enable wireless card and key number pad

To turn wireless on (or off) press the Fn and F2 keys together.
To enable (or disable) the number keypad, press the Fn and "scroll" keys together.

Here is the online manual for your laptop:

SOURCE: it wont connet to my belkin wireless router

Hi...to find the password, or network key:

1) Login to your router.

To do this, open a web browser on a computer, as if about to view a web page: then type the router address, http://192.168.2.1 in the address bar.

2) You should see a prompt asking for a password. Just click 'submit' button if none has been set: otherwise, enter the correct router login password.

3) You should see the router user interface. In the left hand menu, under Wireless, click Security.

The 'Pre-Shared Key' or PSK you see there is the network key (password) you need.

Please come back to Fixya if this doesn't work or if you need help with any of it. Good luck

SOURCE: where is the wifi password for my 2wire wireless

the default wireless passowrd or network key is located at the bottom left of the 2wire router. You will find a sticker that indicates the Serial Number, System Password and Wireless Network Key. The Wireless Network Password is is the 10 Digit Code located under the S/N.

If in any case you want to personalize the Wireless Network Key. You can access the gateway by opening a browser the type 192.168.1.254 it will ask you for a password use the System Password on the sticker. Click on Home Network then Click on Wireless Settings. You can also change the Network Name or SSID, The Authentication and the Wireless Network Key

How do I change the security key of a wifi network on my Epson wf3640 printer

Wi-Fi is rapidly replacing wired LAN in homes and offices. This is the reason most high-end printers now come with Wi-Fi built into them. Now you can print documents wirelessly without attaching cables. However, before you print, you need to connect and configure your printer to print over a Wi-Fi connection. In order for the wifi to work, your printer and your computer must connect to the same wifi router or to an access point/repeater/extender connected to the same router.
1. Open Internet Explorer, on the address bar type 192.168.1.1
2. There's no username and type admin on the password. If admin didn't work, use your own password.
3. When you have the Setup Page open, click on Wireless Tab, then click on the sub-tab Wireless Security.
4. There you can see the Security Mode. If the mode is set to WEP, the WEP Key 1 is your wireless key. If the mode is set to the WPA-Personal, the Passphrase or the WPA Shared Key is your wireless key/PIN.try this steps and fix problems let if you have facing this problems call canon printer technical support Experts toll-free number 1-800-213-8289 for get online help. Hi.. Please can you help me? Am trying to connect my Lexmark s305 printer to my laptop via wireless. but the setup is asking for the wep key. where can i get this? thanks

The WEP key allows printers and computers to join your wireless network. I imagine you are not connecting the printer to your laptop but to the wireless box that provides WiFi connection to your Laptop and other PCs on your wireless network. If you never set up a password or Wep Key yourself to secure your wireless network, it means your network is secure by default and the administration page of the wireless box (router or access point) will contain this information in one of its WIFI/security Tabs , for example the user's manual for your Wireless box will give you the IP address you need to type in a Browser(like IE) to access this page (that may also be protected by a default password unless you changed it) or this can be found at the physical bottom of this same box as is often the case with wireless Boxes provided by your ISP.
once in the admin page of your Box providing the wireless for your network you can access the security tab to know or change this WEP KEY. if you dont know the IP address of your Box, type ipconfig/all in MSDOS (cmd.exe) and look up the gateway address for your wireless network card. this will most likely be the IP of your wireless box or access point. (often like 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 or something similar) Hope this help, feel free to bring further information for further help and rate the Help if it was of any use, cheers
