Hi I wonder if anyone can help my hotpoint TCYM750C isn’t turning I only have two items in it as it has been going round then just stopping it’s still has heat does anybody have any idea what this could be thanks

possible broken drive belt on the drum
motor start run capacitor failed
motor burnt out

Seals don't lose their magnetism. Check the door closes all the way round and adjust the hinges if it doesn't sit straight. Check there isn't a relief valve frozen up or blocked (it allows air to escape when the doors are closed). Check the drawers are fully pushed back in and not stopping the door closing properly

may be the drum belt is the fault, Here are some possible causes of a washing machine belt coming off :-


1.The drum pulley is loose

2.The drum bearings have gone (collapsed) causing the drum pulley to wobble
3.The drive belt was to slack
4.A motor fixing bolt or bracket securing the motor to the tub has broken or come loose
5.Water has got onto the belt causing slippage
6.An obstruction or item of clothing temporarily jammed the drum causing the belt to spin off ,,,,,,,,,,,,

first check whether it is hard to turn the drum if not then check the above situations,,,ok

Hi there, I've got a Hotpoint Aquarius washer / dryer and this has just started happening to me - it seems to get to the end of the cycle then repeat itself. However, I do not seem to be able to cancel the cycle, or am I able to switch it off. It's been going for about 4 hours now. Any ideas?

Sounds like you may have to replace the cycle timer.

is this that the drum doesnt go round much or at all when turned on but lets the water in if it is then its just your carbon brushes and will only cost no more then £15 to buy them let me know

change the timer

if it wont pull off theres somthing stuck in it

i have the same on my dishwasher and have just been looking on the net. Found out that the error code A10 means open/short circuit fill value traic. Whatever that means!!! and to book a service engineer. Hope that helps
