I REPLACE CONDENSOR FAN ON A LENNOX BUT THE FAN IS OVER HEATTING AND STOPS& COOLS DOWN AND RUNS

Did you replace the fan blade or the fan motor? If you replaced the fan blade, is it exactly the same blade as the old one? If it has more blades, or wider blades, or if the blades are at a different pitch than the original, it is capable of moving a greater amount of air, but the old fan motor is not big enough in Horsepower to do the extra work. Thus, you should change the blade again to one that is exactly the same as the old one. If it is a window unit, you could try running the fan on a lower speed and it might work.If you replaced the fan motor, you must check to make sure that the new motor is exactly the same as the old one. You also could have it wired wrong, so you must check that also.

Replace old attic fan motor, or replace the entire fan assembly.

I am assuming you replaced your fan by now. However in the future call Gibraltar Industries, they are the ones who manufacture all fans and motors. My attic motor fan also died and I first called Ventamatic and they wanted $65 for a new motor. I then called Gibraltar and they shipped one our for free. 800-527-1924.

Bathroom exhaust fan 16 years old and noisy. How to fix?

One drop of 30 wt oil at each bearing will quiet the thing for a while, but you will eventually want to replace it. Also consider the whole fan is about the same cost as the motor, and easier to find.

Replacement motor

your blower fan screws onto the end shat of the motor. Now the direction? It could be reverse threads. Since you are changing out the motor stick a screw driver in the old motor to lock it up and try righty-lefty to loosen your fan. don't damage the fan with tools. Go here and see if your fan is shown www.repairclinic.com
