SOURCE: Cant recieve text messages
Yes i have the Sprint LG Rumor and none of my texts are coming in. I dont think it is a device problem. At first my text messages wouldnt send at all and then i restarted my phone and they started to send but i cant recieve any text messages. Its been like this for the past hour. My Girlfriends texts are not coming in, as well as my sisters. I texted my sisters phone and her texts didnt come either. Its really frustrating me and id like to have it fixed.

This seems to be a recurring problem that I have discovered was a problem with both the original iPhone as well as the iPhone 3g. I just had this happen to me 3 days into owning the phone and the "solution" set forth to me by the apple tech at AT&T was to go into settings and place the phone on airplane mode for a couple minutes and switch it back. This surprisingly worked for me albeit for a matter of minutes. I was then instructed to do a Network reset also through settings under the "Reset" category at the bottom. Although it didn't immediately resolve the problem, after I manually entered my friend's number each time I texted for about 4 texts I have been able to text uninterrupted so far. Not sure this is a permanent fix yet but it's worth a shot for you guys as well.

check your message centre number..If its edited or deleted..u cant send or receive any messages..contact your operator for tat number..

Hey, I just bought the same phone from ebay, and it was preflashed for cricket too. My phone had the same exact problem. I called cricket technical support at 1-800-274-2538 and they refreshed my flashing while i was on the phone with them. As soon as I got off the phone with them my phone worked perfectly. You will need to contact the service provider for further assistance. There is nothing personally that you can do to the phone to make it work. Sounds like they will need to program the phone or your plan to include text messaging.
