SOURCE: Insignia Flat Screen TV - no cable signal

Hi, need some help here. I have a flat screen tv that will not go on. Its not even 2 years old. Yet I had to keep trying the wall outlet to get it to turn on. Now it won't go on at all. The tv light use to be blue when it was on. Now its pink? Should I ask santa for another, or can this be repaired without too much fuss/cost? Thanks!!!!

SOURCE: Insignia LCD TV won't recognize computer input...

Heres the dealyo.
Click start button
Click control panel
Click display
Click settings
adjust screen resolution (probably have to go down) until the tv displays your computer
if this did not work, you will have to adjust bit rate from 32 to 16. Fiddle with the settings until the magic happens.
You will not get any sound unless you use an audio jack plugged into t.v.

Im here all week

How to fix distorted images and black out on TV?

The signal going to your TV is weak and is not getting a proper signal. You will have to check the cable box and any wires and device that are connected to the TV to make sure that everything is connected correctly.

I'm not sure what you mean by "run surround sound from this tv" . If you are using an antenna for HIDEF you would run an optical cable from the tv to the optical input on your receiver labeled CD. If you are using a cable box or using a blu ray player simply run a coax cable from said box or player (digital out) into your receiver labeled DVD and run the HDMI cable straight into the back of your tv strictly for video. Note that some recent budget players have omitted digital audio outputs entirely. Hopefully your player has them. Hope this helps. Feel free to ask for clarifications.

No sound on my 32'' Insignia LCD HDTV

you might try checking the sap (secondary audio programming) option in your tv if it has one make sure it is turned off. if it is off or does not have that option you will most likely have to take it to a repair shop. i would not try to fix it my self as you will do more harm than good.

Remote Control

From GUEST: I found this solution in the manual and will perform this task again to see if I can get the tv will be re-recognized again. Give this a try, too.

Remote will not turn on or shut off the TV.
• You must program the converter box remote in order to control your TV power button.
• To program the remote control:
    1. Determine if the TV is a model that can be controlled by the remote control. See "Controllable TV brands" on page 17 in the manual.
    2. Turn on the TV.
    3. While you press and hold TV POWER on the remote control, press CH ^ or CH v one or more times until the TV turns off. Each time you press one of these buttons, the remote control sends a manufacturer code (between 1 and 45) to the TV.

Stand Alone VCRs do not play pictures on my Insignia 24" TV

Did you try using teh SV cables supplied or the RF cable?
Easier to use the AV Cables. 100% should work. Connect Video OUT of VCR ro VIDEO IN of TV and AUDIO OUT (L) and (R) of VCR to AUDIO IN (L) & (R) of TV. Select AV or VIDEO on TV using TVs remote. Play a Cassette. should work!!
