I have 2 liftmaster 3245. The hand held remotes were working fine then stopped. I replaced the batteries and turned of all electrical/RIF close by. Still not working. Both cars operate the doors with no problems as does the wall mounted controls. I then unplug one of the units, still no luck, does anyone have any knowledge to fix this...

You need to reprogram the remotes by briefly pushing the learn button on the garage door opener until it flashes once, then release the button on the garage door opener.

Now press the remote button once until you hear the garage door opener click, now press the remote button once again and the remote should be programmed to work for that garage door opener.

DO NOT press and hold the garage door opener learn button for more than 10 seconds or you'll erase all programs and have to relearn all the remotes, including your car ones.

Hope you found this very helpful and best regards.

SOURCE: Liftmaster garage door openers Model # 3245 (remote Issue)

it is possible that when you programmed the car remotes you erased the pairing between your hand held remotes and the unit. Follow the instructions to pair the remotes again and you should be good to go.

I have a liftmaster formula 1 1280R opener that works fine from the wall mount but all of a sudden both remotes and the built-in remote in my car stopped working. It is not the batteries in the remotes. ...

The motor/control unit may have gotten reset. It needs to relearn the codes transmitted by the remotes.

MIne has a "learn" button on the control unit. Press and hold, then press the button on the remote. Lights will flash indicating it has received and stored the code. Release button.

Check to see if the remote works now. If so, all three should be working. If not, dig up your manuals.

Try reprograming the opener to each remote, if this doesn't work then the command/radio module in the opener is damaged and needs to be replaced. Hopefully you can find one or you will have to replace the whole garage door opener. Good luck.

I have a hampton bay remote that just stopped working. I have installed new batteries, have checked the code with another remote so I know the problem isn't the fan. The light on the remote does not...

If the light on the remote is not lighting when you push a button, check the batteries to make sure they are in the proper position. If one is turned the wrong way, the hand held will not work. You may also want to check the replacement batteries to make sure they are fully charged. If all this fails to solve the problem, you will need replace the hand held remote. Since Hampton Bay Fans are a house brand for Home Depot, they stock and sell replacement hand held remote controls.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

If the opener feels any resistance it will act like this.Make sure that the rollers on the door to frame are oiled well and turn easily, move in and out easily as well, you can also turn the screw to increase the resistance stop pressure.Oil the rollers well

The hand held divice stopped working and the mounted pad light flashes quickly. The mounted pad does work.

The most likely problem here is that your wall control is bad. I would disconnect the 2 wires going to it and I think you will find your remote works. Replace the wall control.

Remote only works when I am directly underneath the receiver on the liftmaster 3245. It is not the remote or a battery issue.

It sounds like the receiver on the garage door control has become faulty and will only work on strong signals when the remote is very close. It could be that a solder joint on the receiver board is faulty or on of the electronic components is failing. Also check for any loose conecting wires between the receiver and the drive motor for the door.

Liftmaster 1/3 HP - humming, but does not open.

It's the gear drive. There are kits online for about $40, if you're semi-handy you can replace it yourself. Search for liftmaster replacement parts.
