RUN down to Advance Auto Parts and buy a can of "SeaFoam" and add to your gas tank per instructions...drive for at least 100 miles and the problem should be gone. If not, one or more of your O2 sensors are most-likely fouled (lousy fuel quality these days).

In the fuse box under the hood, fuses 3, 6, 7, 10, and 12 are all directly related to the sound system. In the trunk, fuses 3, 6, and 7 are also directly related to the sound system. Please check all the fuse.

And also unplug the CD changer's power and fiber cable and then recheck the radio.

I have a mercedes clk 320 year 2003 and my remote control no longer works. i cant figure out how to replace a battery -- is this possible? how can i do this or do i need a new remote?

Remove the Glove key from the FOB. Inside the slot you can see the little plastic slider. Slider it in and the same time detach the top FOB up and pull it out of the FOB body. After that you will see the battery to replace. Have fun.

Steering wheel controls

In most cases this problem is caused by the rotating ribbon circuit contact under the steering wheel having a broken filament (ribbon type connector), the part is known as a clock spring contact, u will need to properly disarm the airbag and remove the steering wheel to access the part. WARNING: Failure to follow factory Airbag disarming protocol can result in an unexpected Airbag deployment and possible serious personnel injury or death.

Removal of installed FXCD-500 from car?

Hi there,

the keys go either side of the CD plater, you should see little slots, either in the trim ring or behind it, just slide them down the side.

you then have to push the keys outwards i.e 1 towards the driving wheel and the other towards the glove box.

at the same time pull stright out!

Please rate

Hope this helps
