ez out . Ask your locial pars stoe. this will help you remove when you don't have notthing to get a hold of, they really work and are fairly easy, good luck with it.
Hi, just grasp the front of the thermostat and work it back and forth. It will come loose from the subbase that is screwed to the wall. This is where the batteries and control wires are terminated. It will look and feel as though it is one unit, but it will come apart, it has 2 sections, the stat first, and the subbase last. It may be stuck but it will come off. They snap together. Good luck, you can do this. Shastalaker7 A/C, Heating Contractor Please rate me on this! Thank you :)
use a ez out if possible. You have a great chance at removing the engine oil pan as well for the sensor is made of high strength plastic and will get inside the block as well once the ez out is used
is there a padlock on the screen? If so push the up, down, and mode buttons at the same time to unlock it. Your next choice is to take the stat off the wall and let it sit for about 10 min. then put it back up. Or configuration is in lock mode
