Hi Edgar, it is important that the receiver works, because there is a dialogue between the transmitter and the receiver to confirm that they are on the same frequency, that is why the transmitter is blinking, you should repair the receiver and look for the frequency or channel that the transmitter is found and it will stop flashing

SOURCE: keyboard not responding

Solution. My wireles keyboard stopped working except for the F-Lock key, the Media key and the sleep key. It wasn't batteries, even though I tried, communication was there because the above keys were working. Remove the batteries from your keyboard and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Press the red connect button a few times and other various keys every few minutes during that time. This may be the whole "capacitor discharge" trick, but I tired that with someone elses instructions and my keyboard did not work after 2 minutes of key pressing. I think it just needed more time to clear out the secure settings. Good luck, I was about to trash this keyboard until I tried again

SOURCE: on/off button broken

You should'nt need a scematic, this happens all the time with the ew100 handhelds. you will need to remove the three star bit screws between the screen and the batteries, pull off the end cover and with a small screwdriver or some long needle nose pliers- put the red button back into the hole from the inside of the cover. Just take care when putting the end cover back on- sometimes its a bit difficult.

SOURCE: ''Power off ''flashes ten times after the receiver is turned on.

Most often it will require an output IC, but I have seen it be a bad ground or a transistor in the protect circuit.

Ew100 g2 - getting a lot of distortion and must scream into mic to register any voice sound. Volume and channels for mics are all adequate

Add a DI box to clean up/boost the signal of that mic. If all the channels are doing this, get a bigger (more watts) amp so that you have more headroom.

Sennheiser em100 g2 receiver passes major static to mixer

This is a well known problem with the EW100 series that is easily solved.
You will need to run this reciever into a line input via a mono(TS) jack to jack lead. this will bypass the phantom power.
Make sure that you set the AV OUT to +18 in the reciever menu to get optimum level.
Phantom power is only present in the microphone inputs XLR3.
Hope this helps.

Transmission distance problem on Sennheiser G2 wireless

I regularly use G2 ew100+300 systems, which have a manual squelch adjustment on the reciever. Squelch is difficult to explain but here we go: a squelch adjustment gives you the options LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH these settings effect transmission distance and interference rejection. for example: a HIGH squelch is less prone to interference but has a shorter transmittion distance. A LOW squelch is more prone to interferance but allows for a longer transmission distance. For most applications, a MID squelch is fine. If this does not help- the next option would be to swap arials between units and see if the problem moves. The G2 series are a 30mw transmittion which has an effective range of about 50m
hope this helps.
