SOURCE: Loud humming noise as fridge is running

Sounds like the freezer fan is rubbing some wires or possible some foam insulation around the fan. I would look into the freezer compartment fan and go from there. The fan Will Shut off when you open the doors. Let me know how you make out and if you need anymore help.

Thanks,
Bill

Hi there my merlon garage door lifer will not lift the garage door , the motor is running but the belt is not moving , can you help me with this ? Thanks chris

It's probably a stripped gear caused from an unbalanced door. The door itself has springs to counterbalance the weight. Depending upon how many cycles your door goes through in a day will determine how long they'll last. Springs SHOULD Last You Between 5 To 10 years. Sounds like u need work. OR....the opener is disengaged from the door. Pull cord for black outs. Good luck.

You may need to have the water filter replaced. This sounds like it is starving for water as it refills.

We own a RF267AARS/XXA refrigerator. Ice maker works slow. Hardly ever makes a full tray of ice in 24 hrs. Then for no reason quits making ice for 2-3 days. I the pull the ice-tray out a couple of times...

You'll have to read my in depth review on Epinions.com for answers. Sounds like you bought the updated version that over corrects the "too much" ice which jams the mechanism to where it breaks the unit. This is my second friggen Samsung as my 1st 4 door quatro was replaced under their lemon law. Spending $2500 I thought I was buying quaility, instead I bought greif. I'm still working with Best Buy to get Samsung to fix the icemaker with it's current problem which sounds like yours. Go to the Epinions website and look me up, my username is "walkerpkw" My review was posted last year. Read both my horrifying Samsung reviews. Something is very wrong with their engineering department. You'll find my email address on my profile page. I'd be happy to inform you if the get this fixed. I'm told it's the fridges computer board and they're redisigning another?

Blinking temperature control

You need to check the limit thermostat for the defrost in the back of the refrig section. I replace it with a standard bi-metal type from a Frigidaire to keep the problem from reoccuring.

Freezer stopped working

Solomonau, it's hard to tell without being there exactly what is going on. I do know however, that in April of 2005 Samsung came out with a bullitin regarding the cap tube. It states that it has been inserted into the dryer incorrectly and can cause no cool situations. This is part of the sealed system which should be covered for 5 years. What you are describing sounds like a partial restriction, which could be taking place in that dryer and cap tube. If you were to post your model number, I would be able to tell if yours was included in this bullitin. You can then contact Samsung and inquire about this service bullitin, Catriver..post back.
