N97 doesn't delete mails. I try to delete mails, I get a box that says "deleting", but it freezes there, and the mails aren't deleted... :-(

Try logging into Talktalk with a web browser and manage your backlog of emails from there. Hope this makes sense, you probably need to delete them from the server when they are downloaded and read.

It is very simple, beside every mail there is a check box just single click check box in order to select the particular mail you want to delete you can select all the mails you want to delete and above you can click on delete option

check the check box next to the mail then strike the delete button. If you want to delete more than one at a time then check more than one check box adjacent to each piece of email. Or if you are using outlook then simply right click the desired mail to delete then right click and select delete. Hold ctrl while right clicking desired mail to delete to delete more than one at a time.

You have to delete some of the emails that are in your Inbox. But after you delete them, you will have to go into Deleted Items (or Trash) and delete them permanently so that the mail box quota will increase.

if you want to delete selected files go to the tools > file manager and then delete the files as you wish . or you want to delete all the data plz follow this method
first switch of your phone then press the star(*) three(3) and call button holding these button and switch on the screen displays blank white screen for sometimes and then on .try it

YOU HAVE TO DELETE DATA FROM INTERNAL MEMORY.

1.try deleting some unwanted msg,
2.on your web, clear all privacy data

that's all you have to do.

EVERY SINGLE RATE COUNTS SO,

just delete some of your photos...it freezes due to excess of photos

Hi,

go to Messaging Then "Options > SIM messages". and you should delete all massages from there.

Use the Nokia Photos application on your PC. Connect your phone to the PC using for example USB cable. In the left top corner of the application the name of your phone should appear. Click on it - it will turn green. Now you will see the photos on your phone. Select the icons that you want to delete and press delete (on the keyboard).

Please delete and clear all junk files and folder from your system.

To do this..

Go to Start --> Run --> Prefetch

Then delete all files present there..

Next in the Run box type --> %temp%

Delete the files and skip if some not deleted..

Also clear all browsing data from your Web Browser and then empty recyle bin.

Now try opening email.. and let me know the status.
