How to connect to the internet

You can only get streamed content on demand if it isn't a Smart Television. That means it is connected to the Internet and has a Smart Centre and Apps. Once you establish that, you connect via the App belonging to the Streamer or you use the Browser to the streaming website like 'Crackle'.

How do I get my Roku to turn on?

Hello Dear

Roku streaming players are low-power devices that are designed to remain on and always connected to the internet. There is no "power button" to press on or off. This easy-to-use design prevents confusion by enabling instant access to your player any time you turn on your TV or switch from another source (e.g., cable box, Blu-ray player, gaming console).It also allows your Roku player to download new OS software and channel updates automatically without interrupting your use of the player. Your streaming player only uses your internet connection when streaming, or during the occasional automatic software update. When not in use, your Roku streaming player does not use any material bandwidth of your internet connection.
·USB-powered Roku streaming players
The Roku Streaming Stick+, and Roku Express can be powered through the USB port on your television. This means it will automatically power-off when you turn off the television, but it also means that it will have to boot-up every time you turn on the television.
Note: The USB port on some TV's may be unable to power a Roku streaming player.
·Options for powering off Roku streaming players
Although Roku streaming players use very little power when not in use, you may still want the ability to power-off manually. To do this without having to remove the power cable, consider connecting to a power strip with a power button, or a smart strip that automatically turns off power when not in use.
Note: Your Roku player will have to boot-up every time you turn on the power strip.

Type of video card for D845EBG2

The Intel D845EBG2 motherboard supports AGP graphics cards.
(Accelerated Graphics Port)

It supports AGP graphics card's that are AGP 4X, and 1.5 Volt.
(Supports AGP 2X also, but who cares)

1) Good;

80 Stream Processors.

(Also; Read the reviews)

What are stream processors? Nothing new. Just a new term for the same old graphics technology;

"A stream processor is an ALU which is usually involved in handling SIMD instructions. ALU stands for Arithmetic Logic Unit, which in English means "number cruncher". It's the part of the chip that does the actual computation involved in processing data. Nearly every chip around today no matter if its in your video card or your coffee maker has at least one ALU. "SIMD instruction" means that it crunches a group or "stream" of numbers all at once rather than one at a time. For the RV740, the number you hear is 640 "stream processors" because each of the eight shader cores has sixteen execution units and each of those has five ALUs: 8 x 16 x 5 = 640."

(I like MIME's explanation)

2) Better;

Philips 23pf9946 tv

What do you mean by 'stream from my pc'? None of the info I see for the device indicates it has any such feature. Does it have some sort of network plug on the back? Do you really mean that you would like to use the TV as a secondary display in Windows?
