How di I prepare my Logitech harmony 350 for sale

Unfortunately, the Harmony 890 and 880 chargers have a design flaw that makes the remote slowly become unable to charge. One way that I get around this with my Harmony 880 is to attach an elastic band around the remote when it is in the charger, so that it does not lose contact. You can also purchase one of the new chargers (Logitech redesigned them) for about 10 bucks US. You can order it by calling the Logitech sales line which is 1-800-231-7717.

If your Harmony remote is not charging on the base, try pressing down on the remote, and wiggling it around. It's just that the pins are not making contact.


If pressing down helps, you can fasten it on with a elasitc band or something so that it keeps charging. If that does not work, then you will probably need a new charger. Good news is that they are only about $10 if you buy it right from Logitech. You can call their sales line at 1-800-231-7717.

Logitech does not sell replacement LCD screens for Harmony remotes.

I would suggest buying a broken remote from eBay or somewhere cheap. However, keep in mind that attempting to repair your remote will void the warranty.

If your remote has been deemed defective by logitech, there is a reasn for this. I would suggest you go back to your point of sale for a replacement. logitechs warranty isnt transferrable between customers. their warrant only covers the first year of use with the remote.
