How do you remove the bottom cover that holds the filter
SOURCE: changing cabin microfilter
Hi,
This is for a 2003 model, yours should be the same. Remove the (7?) philips screws on the glove box and a clip holding the
right side by the door.
There are two pages of instructions here (straight from the Nissan service manual):

hi, if you open the hood you will see 2 black microfilter housings on the left and right of the engine neer the windshield, on these you will have a bar clip, unclip these and the housing lid will be able to be removed, you then just lift out the microfilters and replace them, installing is the reverse of fitting, job done. hope this helps, regards mark.
If you are referring to the toe panel, after you remove the 3 bottom screws you want to lift it slightly then pull it forward.

Details are shown in the Bentley Manual. It's behind the front console and accessed from the passenger footwell area. Let me know if you still need help with this.

Pop out the two little rollers underneath, at the front. you will find two little screws holding it on. Unfortunately, I found after I broke it off!
