it sounds like the Bord on the front panel has been pushed back ..unplug the machine take lid off and nicely push the Bord in you should see by clicking the on off button if you have done it hope this has helped if not then it sound like a Bord problem with Bord is up to you how far you want to take the machine apart ok you can get back to me after you have tried to push the Bord back ok

then the machine needs to be checked to see what's wrong with it

Push the stop button until it beeps or the readout changes or it turns off (machines are different in how they respond) Once you detect that your machine has responded I recommend you unplug it and it should be ready to reprogram the next time you want to use it.

Refer to the section on Cleaning and Maintenace; there is a button that needs to be pressed.

Did you try to push and hold the 'CYCLE END SIGNAL' button for 3 seconds?

Momentarily press the reset button.

It is located directly above the power button.

SP means that the bobbin winder has been pushed to the right in preparation for winding the bobbin. Just click the winding post to the left till it clicks, and the stitch number will be displayed.
