Possible defective fuser, or may even have jam or out of paper, Some brothers open door, depress the ok button and it will ask if you want to reset fuser. you may try that...
Make sure all connections are as they should be, then make sure your ink cartridge are installed correctly and aligned properly- you can do the aligning process through the menu on your computer. Best of Luck!

This just means that your drum life has nearly reached his end.
Note that when you replace the drum you need to perform the drum counter reset procedure, otherwise the leds will keep on burning after replacing the drum unit.

Out with the old and in with the new, you remove the toner and drum together, remove the toner from the old drum by pressing the blue lever on the side, install the toner in the new drum, and re install in the printer. With the front door open press the go button til all lights flash and then close the door, the new drum is reset.

i had that for awhile until i realized i didn't have the tray that held the paper fully extended. once i figured that out it has not been knocking. now i have toner light on, its always something
pull the tray out and make sure in the back of the tray it is full extended, the paper will lay nice and flat.
