It requires an adapter that plugs into the system itself that the contriller itself "pairs" to. Do you have both pieces?

SOURCE: xbox 360 live on wireless router

In theory you should be able to "share" your internet connection. I use a Linksys WRT54GS wireless router and I have a Linksys Game adapter on my son's 360. He has not complained about lag or slow server times unless other intensive bandwidth is being used.

SOURCE: Help Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver For Windows, help help

I bought this system recently, and it had the same problem from the beginning.

I opened it, and found that the problem was the F1 Fuse that is cutting the current. You have to open it and bypass (soldering) the two legs of the F1 Fuse.

This is how to open it: http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/6896/openingoi6.jpg
and this is the circuit: http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/231/receivereb4.jpg

Hope this will help ;P

You cannot use the netgear wi-fi adapter as the xbox 360 will not be able to detect it. I suggest buying the wi-fi adapter specifically manufactured for the xbox360

The pedals pin on Mad Catz MC2 MicroCon Racing Wheel for Xbox 360 is acting on its own so how do i fix it

Hi,

try pressing the pin for 30 seconds before releasing. Also, you can detach it from your xbox 360 for 5 minutes before re-attaching the device to your xbox. Otherwise, you might need to send the device in for repair through xbox or your local Geeksquad/bestbuy.

Thank you.

Setup your Xbox to a Wireless Network

Xbox game consoles can be connected <span style="text-decoration: underline;"></span> to a router<a href="http://compnetworking.about.com/cs/routers/g/bldef_router.htm"></a> for wireless access to the Internet and Xbox Live. Follow these instructions to set up the Xbox or Xbox 360 connections to a wireless home network.<br /><br /> <ol> <li>Connect the appropriate wireless network adapter<a href="http://compnetworking.about.com/od/hardwarenetworkgear/g/bldef_adapter.htm"></a> to the console. On the Xbox, a Wi-Fi adapter that connects to the Ethernet sometimes also called a wireless network bridge must be used. Alternatively, the Xbox 360 is also designed to work with certain Wi-Fi <i>game adapters</i> that connect to a USB port.<br /><br /></li> <li>Turn on the console and navigate to the wireless settings screen. On the Xbox, the menu path is "Settings -&gt; Network Settings -&gt; Advanced -&gt; Wireless -&gt; Settings" On the Xbox 360, the menu path is "System -&gt; Network Settings -&gt; Edit Settings."<br /><br /></li> <li>Set the SSID (network name) on the Xbox to match that of the wireless router. If your wireless router has enabled SSID broadcast, the SSID name should appear pre-selected on the Xbox display. Otherwise, select the "Specify Unlisted Network" option and enter the SSID there.<br /><br /></li> <li>Specify "Infrastructure" as the Network Mode. (Infrastructure is the mode used by wireless routers.)<br /><br /></li> <li>Set the Security Type to match that of the wireless router. If your router uses WPA encryption and the type of adapter connected to the Xbox does not support WPA, you will need to change your router settings to use WEP encryption instead. Note that the standard MS Xbox Adapter supports WPA while the standard Microsoft Xbox Wireless Adapter (MN-740) only supports WEP.<br /></li> <li>Save your settings and verify the network is functional.<br /><br /> On the Xbox, the Wireless Status screen displays whether a connection has successfully been made with the wireless router, and the Connect Status screen displays whether a connection has successfully been made through the Internet to Xbox Live.<br /><br /> On the Xbox 360, use the "Test Xbox Live Connection" option instead.</li></ol> Tips: <ol> <li>Even when your wireless connection between the Xbox and the router is working perfectly, you may still experience difficulty connecting to Xbox Live. Just bought the orginal xbox 2.4 Version and it came with a wireless Madcatz controller that came with a receiver. The controller isn't working. When I plugged the receiver in the light flashed green and...

Hello Sandy,

I used to recondition these for resale. In almost all cases, I recommend purchasing an original Xbox wired controller. Understood this is not wireless, however it will enable you to use the Xbox.

New or refurbished controllers are relatively inexpensive and can be purchased at Gamestop, Amazon or eBay.

I hope this helps.

I have wireless internet how do i get connect to the xbox 360

Depends if you have an Xbox Elite or an older Xbox 360?
If you have an Xbox Elite then there will be an in- built wireless, For older xbox 360's you will have to go and buy an Xbox wireless adapter.
If you go to settings, network settings, and select connect to xbox live via wireless then you will be prompted to input your security details for your Wireless and you should then be connected via wireless to xbox live.

Wheel and Pedals?

I have the MC2 Microcon for the Xbox 360 and I've only used it on a PC, but I assume they are probably similar.

The pedals should plug into a slot on the base that the wheel sits on. On my model, it is on the bottom right side.

As for the plug that comes from the base with the wheel, you should have received an adapter that has a place to plug in the round cord on one side and a USB plug on the other side. The USB plug would go into your Xbox 360 or PC. This will connect both the pedals and the wheel.

Hope this helps!
