Count your losses and get a good used one from Craigslist or FB Marketplace. I’ve picked up several 55” TV’s from quality manufacturers like Samsung, LG, Sony, etc. in the $150-$200 Range. Plus you may be able to trade something to save some cash, it’s worth a try but you’ll definitely get one immediately for a fraction of the cost of a new one to replace it. If it’s not too old then yes it can be fixed. The question is would it be worth it and that answer is probably not. Labor isn’t cheap and by the time it’s fixed and back on your wall you will have spent what it would cost to buy a new tv.
