just boot from your backup disk. it will guide you to reload the Operating system (factory default).
FYI, if you haven't delete the recovery partition, you can use alt+f10 to reload. just press alt+f10 during boot.

contact acer you can get there number from the website and they will let you purchase a restore disc for 15bucks

SOURCE: how do i restore my dell back to factory settings

If you mean BIOS setting, then enter the BIOS, choose Restore Defaults.
If you mean your windows installation, use the Operating System reinstallation CD from DELL (the green CD, for Windows XP). After operating system installed, use your driver CD (usually the blue CD from DELL). If you don't have the CD, please contact Dell support center to get the CD (charges may apply).

there are 2 ways for doing this

1) Fast and easy without backup disk just do this

Acer: When you turn on the laptop and see the Acer logo screen, hold the ALT key and press the F10 key (you need to do this before the Acer logo disappears).


2) If the method above doesnt work u can do it thru backup disk u have got when u purchased ur laptop u shud have made it thru Erecovery software.

Restart the computer and hold down the F11 key. You can also backup your documents in the process of the restore.

Restoring iPhone to Factory Settings with iTunes

iTunes enables users to back up data to iTunes and restore iPhone to factory settings. 3. iTunes will ask whether you want to back up iPhone before restoring. You'd better choose "Yes" for the reset will erase the contents in your iPhone. Then iTunes will start restoring your iPhone to factory settings.

3. Click Restore again to confirm. Then iTunes erases your iPhone and installs the latest iOS or iPod software. After you restore your iPhone to factory settings, it will restart. Now you can set it up as new.

I DONT KNOW HOW TO RESTORE MY ACER BACK TO FACTORY SETTINGS
The Acer Aspire One is a netbook, not a laptop. A netbook is a smaller, scaled-down version of a laptop. It does not have the memory capacity or graphics of a regular laptop. It also lacks a CD drive, which means you cannot restore the Acer Aspire One with restore discs. Instead, the netbook has a built-in factory restore feature. You can reset the Acer Aspire One to factory settings just using your keyboard. Only restore your netbook to factory settings if you cannot fix the problem any other way.

Save any files or folders on your Acer Aspire One with flash drives. Drag and drop files onto the icon of your flash drive. Go to "Start" > "Restart" to reboot your netbook. Hold down "Alt" and "F10" when you see the Acer logo on the screen. The recovery menu will load. Hit "Enter" and then "Next" to see your recovery options. Choose "Factory Restore" to set your netbook back to factory settings. Follow the instructions on the screen. Choose your time zone and language when the customization menu appears.
