e2 is overfill or flooded base.
take the bottom front panel off and see if there is water in it and if so, mop it out. if it reoccurs, then you have a leak.
you will see a float device in the front approx middle and this is what actuates e2. if fault is intermittant, try putting a small weight on this - a washer for example.
if e2 is being caused by overfill and not a flooded base, then the water intake moulding needs replacing

"E2" is "Trouble with the optical system (front)."

That doesn't solve your problem, but at least it narrow downs the focus of your problem.

Hi! You need to check pump filter. It could be jammed with a coin or hair clip. Now take the machine outside and empty it then lay it on its side and you can access the pump. Take it off, stand up the machine and pour hot water into the soap draw and check water should run out of bottom freely taking any fluff or bits with it. Now take apart the pump and clean it and dry all components before re-assembly. If the machine still doesn?t work then you need to replace the pump. Error Code E2 means the pump is blocked. The remedy is to take the filter out which is underneath the bottom dish basket and ensure its is clean and free from debris. Then use a small container to empty the water sitting in the bottom of the machine/filter housing and ensure that no waste is stuck in the bottom. That should clear it
