My GE GFRW4800F0WW Washer will not end a wash cycle. When there are 3 minutes remaining, it will go back up to 11 minutes. This happens for about 4 hours until eventually it will stop and say PAUSE.

SOURCE: GE WCVH6260 Front Load Washer

I removed the three screws, and lower cover cleaned the few pennies, screws and nasty gunk build up from the filter. The wash machine seems to function as it did prior to the clogged issue. Thank you everyone !!!

SOURCE: Kenmore HE2 won't finish spin cycle

you have blockage in you drain plug. to solve this problem you'll have to remove the lower front panel of your machine by removing the 3 (1/4") screws on the vary bottom of the machine. once the panel is removed you'll see a 1 1/2" white PVC drainage plug. turn the inner plug to the left in till open. (WARNING ALL THE WATER IN THE DRUM WILL DRAIN THOUGH THIS PLUG) remove debris likes socks or everything that's there replace the panel and your all set.

I understand your frustration. It sounds like your GE washing machine is having some problems. Resetting the washer may help to fix the issue. Here are the steps on how to reset a GE washing machine WPDH8900J1WW: 1. Unplug the washer from the power outlet. 2. Wait for 2 minutes. 3. Plug the washer back in. 4. Turn on the washer. 5. Select a cycle and press the start button. If the washer still does not work, you can try resetting the drum motor. To do this, follow these steps: 1. Unplug the washer from the power outlet. 2. Wait for 1 minute. 3. Plug the washer back in. 4. Open and close the lid of the washer 6 times within 12 seconds. 5. Close the lid and press the start button. GE high efficiency top load washer with H2O code. Has good pressure cleaned screens, blew out inlets, and ended up replacing water valve. It still shows code and will not fill on warm or hot. Works on...

If the Fill light is flashing or H2O SUPPLY is scrolling on the display (2015 and newer models): the washer will initiate a 3 or 4 minute lock-out period (depending on model). The washer controls won't respond or change during this time. After 3 or 4 minutes, you can choose your settings and press Start. Unplugging the washer will start the 3 or 4 minute lock-out period again.

My GE GFWS3505LMS font end load washing machine pauses. Have to press start for it to continue. typically happens at 57min. once I press start again it works fine.

try unplugging the unit for a minute to see if it resets it to factory setting.
if not working after that I think but it's hard to diagnose over the internet...it'll be #3 on this site.

I have a GE stackable GUD27GSSJWW - we are on the second one with the same issue. The washer will begin to fill (wash or rinse cycle) and then just stop and the lights start flashing.

It may not be the washer. Have you checked that the filter on the water inlet has not got partially blocked with rubbish from your water. This is a common reason for a fault like this. You will need to remove the washer, remove the water inlet hoses and then remove the inlet filters and clean them. I was given a very expensive washer a few years back that refused to work for the owner who bought a new one. After cleaning the filter, it continued to work for many years after that.

During wash cycle the washer stops at 11 or 12 minutes left and screen reads F . i have a frontload whirlpool duet HT

Just F on its own?
Try to clear it doing the following:
Select PAUSE/CANCEL twice to cancel the cycle. Select
DRAIN/SPIN if there is excessive water in the washer.
Re-select cycle and select HOLD TO START. If the problem
remains, call for service.

Hope this helps comment back if you need further help,

Machine won't fill with water

Check that the inlet screens on the water supply are not clogged.
Make sure the water is for certain turned on (assuring nothing has changed).

If those are not found to be the problem, then it could be the fill valve(s) or the timer control.

Reply back what you find, and I can help you further.
