Canon FS200 - I can't get video to play back on a TV. I connect the supplied cable to the AV OUT terminal on the camcorder and then plug in the audio and video connections on the cable to the correct color coded terminals on the TV. But when I hit the button for playback mode on the camcorder nothing happens on the TV. The video plays on the camcorder view screen (no sound), but the TV just shows whatever is on the channel to which it is tuned. What am I doing wrong?

I tried to adjust NTSC playback mode and changed it to NTSC and not to PAL TV, but nothing changed. Can you only use S-video lines with these cameras? sony dcr

SOURCE: No display on view screen but able to record and play by connecting to TV

I have the same problem: Technical Service says flexible tape between LCD and camera could be open in some lines. The solution is to change that tape.

SOURCE: no sound on playback

The S-video cable carries picture only. You need to also hook up RCA audio cables from the camcorder to the TV

How do I hook up my old Panasonic Palmcorder IQ to my smart TV or my computer so I can play the tapes?

To output audio, use the stereo cable to connect the camcorder to the TV (insert terminals other than the yellow one). 3. Turn on the camcorder and the TV. On the TV, select the component terminal to which you connected the camcorder as thevideo input.22 Jul 2010

I can't get my videos from the camcorder to the

You should have got a CD called Digital video solutions or something, on which you may find an application to upload and edit video. You should have also got a USB interface cable to connect to your PC. You connect that to the camera may select playback on you camera and you should be able to upload video. You can also download instructions from the Canon website

Need to transfer order VCR-C tapes to DVD How

You will need to borrow or buy a DVD-Recorder, either way it's best to follow the manuals instructions on how to connect your camcorder (external device) to the DVD Recorder for Recording to DVD. Most camcorders come with a set of AV (audio/video) Cables for this purpose. On your camcorder you will find a little rubber door that houses the terminals to connect your cables to. Depending on how old your camcorder is you will find a Yellow (video) and a White (audio) and on the newer ones that have stereo capabilities...you will have a Red (audio), all these connections are video and audio Out-Inputs and should be connected to the Video and Audio "In" terminals on the back of the DVD Recorder. Now make sure your battery is fully charged (It's best here to use an AC Adapter for your power supply instead of your battery, which also usually comes with your camcorder if bought new.) and that your VCR-C tape is loaded and completely re-wound. Now if you want to watch this on your TV while you are recording to DVD...you'll need another set of AV Cables that come with a new DVD-Recorder, and hook these cables on the Out-terminals on the back of the DVD- Recorder and the other end of the cables to your TV's Video/Audio-IN terminals on the back of the set. Finally...Set your camcorder switch for Playback, turn on the DVD Recorder, And turn on your TV. Now you can go ahead and record all your VCR-C tapes to DVD! Any other questions? Want to view my canon mvx330i camcorder through my tv

Open the front plastic cover to the right of the lens and expose the ports. The yellow one is the AV port. Press the MENU button on the left side and use the rocker switch above to display AV-PHONES, select AV, and press the MENU button to set it and close the menu. Turn both  the camcorder and TV OFF.
Connect the camcorder AV port to the TV RGB inputs (VIDEO + AUDIO L + AUDIO R) with the cable that came with the camcorder. It has a mini stereo plug at one end and three RCA plugs at the other.
Switch everything on, press PLAY on the camcorder (don't forget to make sure the cassette is wound back to the start). sit back and enjoy.

Canon ZR80 no image on TV in playback

Make sure your AV cable is plugged firmly into the camera. These cables can problem your observing when they are not fully "plugged in". If that does not solve your problem, the front pcb (board underneath lens assy) may have a bad connection. I charge a flat rate of $125.00 for camcorders including parts in most cases with a 90 warranty. If the repair cannot be made for this price a free estimate will be given.
