Ray MS made 17billion last years, is that not enough, ?
no OS on earth supports all hardware nor 38years of software.
OP no PC stated. not even clue, sure DELL but over 30 years of PC, we have not 1 clue. 1984 to today DELL, and is HUGE today.
no PC stated
nor of embroidery is hardware (usb?) and software
nor if only software is this embroidery (thing)
if software or hardware tell the makers name, and even better
the makers URL (there web address) then we (or you) can got ther and see if the maker even has w10 software support at all.
many do not. (38 years of software, and most do not run on modern PC, ) for many reasons not MS fault at all the maker
died, or does not support this product how, (it ended.)
all things have an end, our job is to manage all that stuff.
embroidery (tell what this is, elaborate this big time get x10 better answers for sure) good luck to you.

is this IT? I'm snatching at URL straws.
    for you,

if use ask them for w10 support.
it seems to me they are saying your version is now LEGACY status.(but has and update I see)
the new +2 version also run on w10 so I looked up both for yah.

but you need to ask them, first. not us.
some of those need a LICENSE DONGLE do you have that or is it lost.? seems it does!

did you own it before w10? or bought it used?
or well you will have to sort all that out with them , all those licensing details with them we are NOT THEM.

  • Anonymous Mar 16, 2019

the class , say bring dongle to class.
so did you lose that? or fail to upgrade this product?

SOURCE: Problem installing windows XP

This is going to be either a bad disc or a bad hard drive. Do a hard drive test in the bios, if any part of it fails, then you will need to replace the hard drive. If the hard drive passes, then try a different operating system disc.

SOURCE: installed new update to fix freezing problem - created new one

I had the same problem. Mine originally stopped at 23/92 files. Then after a cool night, I started it again in the morning and got 91/92 files loaded before it started to fail again. I left the disk in and after about 20 fails in a row, it finally loaded!!! Recommend you just leave it in there and it should work. good luck

Trouble with microsoft works 9 wanting to update my computer

Try a manual update, and manage yourself. Update only those needed. For instance languages that you don't use or have installed. Also, not so many at a time. Plus, it may show you failed update.

I have a dell Inspirion 530. When I turn on my computer this black screen comes up.At the top says windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. to fix the problem. 1....

I think the system files of windows might be affected. Looking at the support.dell.com website it's eigther you have windows vista or windows XP as your operating system

what you can do is Startup Repair, System Restore

1. To do this you have to boot your computer to the Windows Vista disk
.At the bottom says "Windows is loading files...."The Windows Setup environment will continue to load

2. At this screen you should configure the Language to install, Time and currency format, and Keyboard or input method options so that they are set correctly. When done, press the Next button. You will now be at the main Windows Vista setup screen where you would normally install Vista on to a computer.

3. Click Repair your Computer and keep on hitting next until you get the menuroadfox_18.jpg
4. Choose Starup Repair First Keep on hittng next until computer restarts.

5. If it fails repeat steps 1 to 4 and choose System Restore

6. System restore will prompt you choose a date. I suggest to choose a date within a week when the computer's setting is up and running

My dell inspiron 1525 has a black screen with a white cursor showing

First, I want to know if you sees the Dell logo after turning on the laptop? If yes then this is no boot issue.
1. Immediately run the PSA. Make sure laptop is off. Press and hold down the Fn key, while holding down Fn key press the power button at the same time just once. Once the Dell screen loaded you can now let go of the Fn key. Check if the PSA will run short test for the LCD, RAM and HDD. When full color displays on the screen just press Y. PSA will continue. Just take note of any error code will appear on the screen such as 0141, 0142 and 0146 these are HDD failure errors which means HDD needs replacement. If the test says no errors found then proceed to step 2;
2. Try restarting the laptop once you see dell logo then keep tapping F8. Select last known good configuration. Press enter key. Just wait and check if laptop will load Windows. If not then, restart laptop keep tapping F8 try to select safe mode check if it will load Windows. If not then prepare the Windows OS disc the one came with your laptop.
3. While laptop is on insert the Windows OS disc. Restart the computer. On the Dell screen keep tapping on F12 to show boot menu. In the boot menu select CD/DVD ROM Drive. Press enter then keep tapping on space bar until it will say Windows loading files, please wait.
4. In the User Interface it will show you some options to select. Once the Install screen comes up look on the lower part select Repair Your Computer. If will ask you to do Startup Repair, please do start up repair. If fails try the System Restore. If fails then step 5;
5. If you have important files in your HDD then back up your files first. After backing up of files you can now install the Windows OS. Here is the process in installing the Windows OS. Insert the Windows OS disc, restart the laptop, keep tapping F12 on Dell screen, on boot menu select CD/DVD ROM Drive.Install the Windows OS. Just complete the installation. After the installation install the laptop drivers.

An error code 1706 keeps coming up. It says "no valid source could be found for product Dell Connections (Support Software). "The Windows Installer cannot continue. I'm not trying to install anything and...

Microsoft says that Error 1706 is a Microsoft Office Error code which
indicates that required files can not be found by Setup. Since you
are trying to install new programs I feel that this is probably the
correct interpretation of your error code.

WIndows XP won't install/ recognise new hardware

Ok firstly can you see the DVD drive in BIOS or any USB Devices Within Bios ?

If yes , we have just solved your problem to both your USB and DVD Drive problems , it being windows , it is failing to communicate device anomalies and is failing to handle device operations.

If the answer was no , you most probably have a faulty motherboard and the problem in question is most likley the south bridge , this is responsible for handling plugged in devices , IDE devicesUSB controller etc.. and communicating with the CPU

On another note in windows you could try one of two things:

1. Completly remove existing drivers , including the chipset and USB control drivers and reinstalling them , then rebooting and trying it all again

or

2. Reinstall the Windows OS and test your devices once more

I Hope this will solve your issues

Thanks , and please dont forget to rate :D
