Check to see if the freezer fan is running. Push in the two switches at the top. The light should go out and if the freezer is powered on the fan should come on. The icemaker runs on temperature so no cold means no ice. Check for ice build up around the evaporator. Could be a defrost issue or a sealed system problem. As for the water, is it the floor of the unit or the floor of the house? Is the drippan in place or sitting on the floor? Also check the condenser fan motor. If this is all greek to you, you should probably call a factory authorized servicer.

you have a bad seal, Take a dollar bill and slide it in between the door seal and the frig. slide it up and down to see if if has drag on it. If you find places it dont touch loosen the screws and adjust the hinges till it fits tight. In some cases you might have to tweak the doors if they need it.

Well, you did agood first step. Now before you think that it is a "freon" problem (usually is not), you need to see if the defrost system is working. If not, then ice build-up on the inside coil and although the frig is trying to make cold, the cold cannot come of the coil because of the ice covering it. There are three components to this defrost system: the defrost timer is the only one you can access without tearing things apart. It is located outside of the freezer usually near the controls and the compressor. You must use a large screwdriver and turn the center knob slowly until you hear a click (stop immediately). The compressor should stop running at this point.Wait 45 minutes to see if unit begins to run again. If not then slowly turn the timer again (it should click again with only a very small movement) and the compressor will start again. The fact that the timer did not move on its owmn and start the comperssor, and that you had to manaully move it to go in again, this tells you htat the timer is bad. If the compressor does go on with in 20 to 45 minutes of you first moving the dial and getting the click, then the timer is ok, and the problems are inside the freezer compartment under all the ice build up. Ypu will need to remove your food and allow it to defrost in the open air (compressor off) mode.
If you find that there is no frost/ice build-up, then you either have a weak compressor that will need to be changed, or there actuaal y is a tiny "freon" leak and a quick small charge will revive to unit ;but for how long, no one knows unless the leak is located and repaired. Goodluck, Macgivor
