I have a Supersonic 40” LED SC-4011, when I do a remote search on my Directv to program the remote, my model does not show up, and none of the codes it scans through work, is there away to fix this so I only need to use one remote? Or is it easier to just get a universal remote?

if you have gone through all of the programming codes; you will just have to use the remote that came with the TV set. there is no way to program more codes into the remote, due to its list of codes it was made with can not be updated. i hope this helps

Additional information for given answer: Don't bother with the ch/pg button as the instructions mention; simply enter the code and press the TV button. 0044 worked for me after doing this, but not when pressing the ch/pg buttons as the instructions indicate.
