My 65 inch Vizio smart TV won’t answer to remote and turn on

If your Vizio remote quits working, it can from having low batteries, or a blocked TV sensor or a power residue of the remote and the TV or a dirty power source or a stuck memory of the remote or problems with the TV itself.
Make sure that none of the remote buttons are stuck or jammed . Try and reset the remote. The remote might not work temporarily due to the poor contact of the battery or and static electricity. Remove the batteries from the remote.

REMOTE CONTROL IS INOPERABLE TO MY VIZIO 32 INCH FLAT SCREEN SERIES: E320B2

I assume you've replaced the batteries. Sometimes the remotes can go bad, especially if it's been dropped or had something spilled on it. I would suggest buying a cheap programmable remote control, and see if you can get it to work. If so, buy a new vizio remote off eBay. If you are unable to get any remote to work, it'll be the TV and will take far too long to troubleshoot over this chat. I hope that helps.

VO37LHDTV10A 37 in Remote malfunctioning

Cheapest route is to get a universal remote and start over. Most remotes have their life span. Sometimes shorter. Any abuse of the remote by dropping, getting wet, etc will make it quit. Hazards of a little piece of equipment we don't see as important UNTIL it does not work!

Yes, you can get replacement Vizio remotes at Walmart for like $10. I know you said you changed batteries, but were they new reputable batteries? Is it the OEM remote or a univeral remote you have?

Remote stop working

You should verify if the remote has failed. Contact the support for Vizio, or ask your dealer where you can buy original replacement accessories.

Visio Tech Support:
http://www.vizio.com/support.aspx?id=1586

Most of the time, we've seen the remote fail. Sometimes we are able to service the remote. Sometimes, the IR LED and or the crystal fails in the remotes. If it is more than this, it is impossible to have internal service parts for most remotes. It takes service experience to be able to change these parts.

On rare occasions the IR remote sensor and remote processor area in the set can have a failure. It is best to try another remote to verify this before sending the set for service.

The most common causes of failure of a remote controller is dropping, rough handling, getting food and drink inside, or putting the batteries in backwards.
