I have a GQF 1502 incubator with digital control and the humidity number stays at 97 but when I put a hygrometer inside the unit it read 47, so what could be wrong.

There could be several reasons why the humidity reading on the digital control is not accurate. Here are a few things you can try:
  1. Calibrate the hygrometer: The first thing to do is to make sure that the hygrometer you are using to measure the humidity is calibrated correctly. You can check this by placing the hygrometer in a sealed container along with a wet sponge or cloth for a few hours. The hygrometer should read close to 100% humidity. If it doesn't, then it may need to be calibrated.
  2. Check the humidity sensor: The humidity sensor in the incubator may be faulty or dirty. You can clean the sensor with a soft cloth or replace it if it is damaged.
  3. Check the water level: Make sure that the water level in the incubator is sufficient. If the water level is low, the humidity will be low as well.
  4. Check the ventilation: The ventilation in the incubator should be set to allow for proper air exchange. If the ventilation is not set correctly, it can affect the humidity level.
  5. Check the room conditions: The room conditions, including temperature and humidity, can affect the humidity level in the incubator. If the room is too dry, it can affect the humidity level in the incubator. You may need to adjust the dehumidifier or add a humidifier to the room to maintain the proper humidity level.

I am finding that the plasma cool ACW600C is leaking a lot of water

air conditions work by removing the humidity from the room air
very humid air will cause a lot of condensation in the evaporator section especially if you have it set below 25 c
keep all doors and windows closed to prevent fresh air bringing in more humid air as that makes it hard for the ac to work efficiently

WhenI let go of the safety handle the mower will not turn off unless I let go of the handle slowly to a certain spot and then it will turn off. Any suggestions? Thanks Dave

if you follow the cable to the engine look at bracket you will see the mechanics of the emergency shut off and look close there will be a white clip with a black wire under it the clip is spring loaded push up on clip the wire comes off clean and reassemble make sure the clip is touching metal when the handle is not held down if not adjust so with handle completely released the metal part of the white clip touches metal there you go have a great day

Humidity problem 10 ton roof top /fresh air required because of exhaust fans in space.cooling satisfys then building humidity is back.

Do you have a separate make-up air system or is the fresh air the only make-up. You can slow the air speed on the 10 ton by adjusting the motor pulley and give the evaporator coil a better chance to collect humidity. Otherwise add a heavy duty closed loop dehumidifier or more make-up air.

How to turn off the rear compartment light on a 1986 fiero gt? It wont turn off. Light stays on and the

Pop your trunk. Look up at the latch assembly on the lid and it should be brass colored but maybe a fuzzy white from corrosion from a humid sealed trunk. On the rear facing you side is a black plastic switch assembly that is screwed to the metal latch. This is the switch that turns on the trunk light. When the lid closes the hook/striker should press this switch in but if it's worn/misaligned, it can fail to open the circuit and shut off the light. You can just remove the bulb to stop it from killing your battery and the Ajar light on your dash will go out when you shut the car off.

Good luck,

MY GOODMAN HI EFFICIENT GAS FURNACE GMH950703BXA ,MAKE A CRAKING NOISE WHEN THE BURNER LIGHT UP AND IT GET LOUDER

Is it a cracking noise or does it sound more like metal stress (expansion & contraction)? If it's metal expansion, there may be a loose duct connection or strapping. If it's not metal expansion and contraction, check the burners for cracks, due to humidity dripping on them. If that's the case, obviously, they will need to be replaced. But, the question then is, where is the over production of humidity coming from. Is the Condensator pump not working properly or is the drain clogged up?
These are the thinkgs you need to check first.

Hope this helped you troubleshoot the problem.

Do I want low or high humidity to keep vegetables crisp. Neither seems to make much difference.

The humidity switch does not control the humidity inside the fridge, but rather is used to control moisture that can form on the edges of the fridge and on the divider between the fridge & freezer compartments.

In areas that experience humid conditions, this is a common occurrence. The relative cold of the freezer & fridge in certain areas of the fridge case causes moist air to condense on contact. This condensation is prevented by a heater that is behind the metal case of the fridge. The moist air can't condense because the metal surface is warmer than the room air.

If you don't have a humid time of year, leave the switch set to "off", as the heater uses electricity and lowers the efficiency of the fridge and freezer - resulting in increased cost of operation. Not using the heater when it is humid will eventually cause the moisture to cause rust on the wet areas of the fridge case.

Honeywell humidistat stuck

what i would do is make sure tha the hole for the wires that go to the humidistat is completely closed and that you are sensing the true humidity for the space also have the tech wire the so that the heat comes on instead of the ac for the de-hiumidification process.
