Sometimes tuners can be overly sensitive! You've just got to sit in a quiet room and wait for the needle to settle, then give it another try.

SOURCE: Recently I bought 12 hole Hohner chromatic. First

I would be tempted to try spraying CRC226 into the harmonica. It is available at Home Depot in the electrical department, usually near the electrical tape in a blue can about $2.70. It is plastic safe and is a water displacer and a very LIGHT lubricator. If there is crud in there it may dislodge it. It also is good at preventing rust and freeing rusty pliers, etc.

Testimonial: "I don't know if CRC266 is available in the U.K. However I think your idea is very promising and I will try a product like "Electrolube". Thank you. "

Old korg cx-3 intonation off with standard piano tune

if it's the old analog version, there should be a tuning knob in the group of controls on the left hand side by the drawbars.

How do i adjust intonation on a peavey predator plus exp?

To adjust the intonation on a guitar you need the following. ..
a electronic tuner
and a small philip screwdriver

when you tune a string say low E you play the note open and adjust tell it's in tune
then to intonate play the low E at the 12th fret
producing a Harmonic, view the tuner it will be sharp or flat,
turn the small philip screw on the bridge adjustment
it only takes a small turn one way or the other so go slow
once the string is tuned at the harmonic note check to see if it's in tune played open, keep tuning and adjusting tell the strings are in tune open and at the 12th fret on all six strings
once intonation is set properly the guitar will sound better
really hope that helps?

KOrg X5D is out of tune

Did you try to get to Global mode, and then check if the tune is 440 hz?
Check the Global Settings. The tuning might either be altered or the key transposed..

Tone chime E5 is out of tune and sounds flat. Have replaced the head and this did not solve the problem. What else do I need to do?

"sounds flat" ... What are you comparing this to? Pianos at that range are sharped due to stretch tuning so this would appear flat compared to the piano. Use a Korg or other brand tuner to verify. If it is flat, my educated guess is there is a crack in it. Dip it in a vegetable dye water mixture and usually cracks will show up. This is almost like Magnafluxing they use in the aircraft industry. These are likely made of aluminum and repair if cracked would be hard... one could try to have it welded and then filed down to tune it. I have done this with sleigh bells on a pipe organ, but those were brass.

How can I tune mas bass guitar to A=444hz with a KORG GA-40 ???

You turn it on and there are the two buttons under the power on button. These ratchet the base frequency up and down. In the upper left corner of the display you will see what A is currently tuned to in tiny characters.

Have no idea how to use it

I can't find info other than the tuner has three lights for flat on, and sharp.

given that you would plug it in and do a close tune of the guitar by ear.

Then you would strum one string at a time and tweek the peg tighter if it shows flat, looser if it shows sharp, until it shows the light right on.

I would recommend you get a book on guitars to learn how to tune and also check the setup of the guitar.

Also I would recommend you get a Korg tuner... they are about $20 from online sources and they are much easier to use.

Need Korg GT-2 chromatic tuner help

well i hope you've figured it out by now, it's a really cool looking tuner and i love it. but if you are still having problems...
the switch on the left side: OFF, ON, LMP (ON with a little light so you can see in the dark)
The number and letters you see across the top of the interface indicate which string it is tuning to. 6E is the low E string (the thickest one) and 1E is the high E string (the thin one on the bottom of the guitar), i've seen many people get confused when they've tuned those two.
You can leave the tuner in auto and it will pick up what string you are trying to tune. but if you are having problems getting the correct string or whatever the case is, you can switch to manual mode. click the only button on the tuner and the specific string will light up on the interface.
If you press and hold the button, the tuner will go into flat mode, tuning all the strings flat.
once you have the right string and you're tuning it in, you want the needle to be centered.
that's pretty much it. enjoy!
