press the reset button (black) on the bottom of the icemaker, the system will go through a cycle, and water will pour into the tray.

sounds like you need to prime the pump manually:
Fill water tank.
Turn power on.
Open the steam knob all the way.
Press the coffee button.
Put a cup under the steam pump wand.
Wait until you see a steady flow of water and no air.
When you see the flow of water, close the steam knob.
Turn off the coffee button.
Now the machine should be ready to brew an espresso.
You might need to do this if you have not used your espresso machine for a few weeks or if it has been moved.

I think that the problem is the water inlet valve if the machine is not filling at all.
If the machine is not filling to the correct level, it may be the float switch.
