SOURCE: Surround speakers don't work

Check which Channel you are using on the Remote. i.e. 2.1 Multichannel or Auto the Centre Speaker and the 2 rear speakers don't work if its 2.1 channel setting

Daewood DHC400 works well on continuous setting, but in auto mode does not. It is showing 18 to 20 humidity while the room humidity is 50 to 60

are you sure thats not the setting thats showing not the room Rh

most homes are 70% Rh as normal !

external Rh meters can be purchased if you suspect that one on unit is not accurate for not a lot of money now

Sony DHC FLX5D hifi system shows a red light near power on switch but won't start

You opened the case to check the fuses, do that again and look at the devices that resemble small cans. See if the are bulging, leaking or exploded.

Transfer minidisc music from sony dhc-mdx10 to windows computer

Digital transfers are only possible from the host pc/Mac to the player and not the other way around. but you can transfer the audio signal by connecting the headphone output to the Mac audio input; look into the Minidisc player menu and on some models you can set the headphone socket to "line" which bypasses the volume control circuits for better quality.
