SOURCE: Whirlpool Oven Control Panel Thermal Fuse

If the display is totally out it is likely the thermal fuse this is located where the wire connectors plug into the board it looks like a small resistor in a platic shrinkwrap type sleeve. test it with a continuity meter.

SOURCE: Dishwasher acts like it isn't getting power.

If you have power to the board and no power out to components then your board has failed. Will need to replace board. Part#154635501 and sugg retail is about$100.

SOURCE: Simpson washer 45S558E manual needed

You should be able to download from www.simpson.com.au, click on "downloads", then click on "manuals" on the front load washers section. However, I just tried this, and there seems to a broken link on the website. You can contact the Simpson Help by clicking on "FAQ's", which has an email link to customer service, as well as a customer service phone number. Maybe the faulty manual link will be repaired in the near future?? Good Luck!!

Why does my Simpson washing machine have no power

Impossible for someone out here in the internet to say why. Needs to be tested and diagnosed properly. Could be any number of reasons. Broken power cable, faulty on off power switch, faulty control board, blown fuse etc.etc As you have not even given the model number you really need to phone a service company.

Simpson eziset 550 wont power up the power point definitely works and I have tested the machine on off switch

There is a fuse on the circuit board for this model. It just pops out of its holder. They go all the time.

Replace with a 4Amp Slow blow fuse.

They cost about $10 from Simpson (Electrolux), or you\'ll get a box of 6 or so from Dick Smith for a couple of bucks

Kenmore Elite Model 110.42926 202 after setting the desired cycle will not start when you push the start button

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
Incoming Power Problem If the washer won't start check to see if there is power at the electrical outlet which the washer is plugged into. Plug a lamp or radio into the outlet to check it. If the outlet is dead, check the circuit breakers or fuses for the home.

Power Cord If the washer won't start, check to be sure there is power to the electrical outlet for the home. If that is OK, the power cord itself might be defective. This is rare. You can check the power cord with an Ohm meter for continuity.
User Control and Display Board If the washer won't start, the user control and display board may be defective. Check for power to the washer first.

Timer If the washer won't start the timer might be defective. This part is often misdiagnosed, check other components before replacing this timer.

Line Fuse If the washer won't start the line fuse might have blown.

Thermal Fuse If the washer won't start the thermal fuse may have blown. It can be tested for continuity. Watch our fuse testing video for more information.

Line Fuse and Holder If the washer won't start the line fuse might have blown, or the line fuse holder might be damaged and need to be replaced.

Main Control Board If the washer won't start the main control board might be defective. This is not common. Check other parts and causes first.

Door or Lid Latch Assembly If the washer won't start the lid switch assembly might be defective. This is a very common problem. The lid switch assembly can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any electrical switches with an Ohm meter for continuity. The switches should have continuity according to their design.

Door Lock Motor and Switch Assembly If the washer won't start the door lock assembly should be checked. The door lock can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any switches on the door lock with an Ohm meter. The switches should have continuity according to their design.

Simpson espirit 750 won't turn on

Hi, This may sound obvious, but have you checked the fuse? if the machine is completly dead this may be the problem or the ON/OFF switch is faulty. If there is life in the machine the problem could be the door switch. If the fuse has blown then there could be a fault such as heater element blown, is the most common to blow a fuse.

If its the model i'm thinking of, there is a fuse located on electronic board. disconnect power. acess by removing 3 screws along top rear, top panel comes off. locate fuse-if faulty, fuse should be replaced with a 4amp slow blow fuse.
