Charger not working

3 possible reasons:

1. Usually the cable of the charger is cut inside (the wire inside the cable).
Try to change just the cable.

2. The battery is Dead so it cannot be charged. Change battery.

3. Inside the charger, the fuse or transformer are dead. Change them one by one and test in the middle.

Another brilliant solution is: Buy a cheap Charger that fits your voltage and change the plug so as to bit your tool.

Power socket in middle counsole wont charge my cell phone

Check the fuse for the socket and check to see if the charger works in a different vehicle. The chargers will also have a fuse inside them that can go bad. If the fuse isn't burnt out for the socket and the charger doesn't work in another car than its probably the fuse in the charger.

No output from charger model SF-1252MA

the transformers of these chargers have whats called a thermal fuse....usually this fuse is wired inside the transformer itself....it is designed so that in case of excessive overloads or high temperature, the fuse will blow...this is to protect your home wiring from overheating and possibly catching fire.......it is a safety feature....by touching the cables together even for a moment caused an extreme overload condition which probably took the fuse out....you can still fix it but you need to open a few layers of the transformers wrapping to get access to the fuse.....some systems have other components called NTC's or PTC's....these are also temperature safety components.....chances of the regulating components going bad ae slim because their capacities are designed for high power, high temp conditions so chances are that only the fuse is gone....good luck

Try checking the fuse inside the charger. Ths may be blown. Have you tried another charger in its place ex. cell phone or radar detector? If works for the cig lighter should charge.

My dewalt dw911 radio/charger works on either mains or battery but wont charge a battery and blows an internal fuse when both are used together

More than likely your internal charger is faulty. Inside your inernal charger unit check the 2 anmp fuse which is white in colour.

Car charger fuse

The fuse is just inside the tip that plugs in the car lighter. You screw it off and out comes the fuse. As for the fuse you can go to any local electronics store with the fuse that you get out of the charger and ask if they have it.
