Question about Casio Parts Cash Register PC Desktop

Open Question

On a Casio pcr t2300, If you hit the refund key in refund mode, will this make the item a positive?

I thought I refunded it, but it is still adding it to the daily totals. But I hit the Refund key while it was in refund mode, so did that actually add it to the total instead of refund it?

Casio T-280; I need to cancel out a transaction. Haven't hit cash/check/charge; I want to do this without having to issue a refund

This machine is too cheap to have a void function so you will need to finish the sale with cash. Now you can reverse the transaction:
Turn the key to RF mode. Enter the items exactly as you did the first time. they will all be negative items now and they will go back out of the daily sales. Finish the sale with the same payment type (cash) and the machine will take the amount back out of the cash total. Now your sales report will have the correct figures.

If you want an easier method, buy a Casio with the CANCEL function and you can quit a sale at any time :)

Not sure how to log a refund using the pcr-t2100?

Hi. Press RF then type the amount to refund, then press the item. If you have preset prices already on the items, then just press RF then the item. Finish with a payment type e.g CASH

How to void a sale on casio pcr-t275-l cash regester

This is a very simple model, so there are only two ways to remove items in a sale. If you enter an incorrect item, press ERR CORR to remove the last item. If you want to remove a previous item, or return an item after a sale, turn the key to RF (refund) mode and key in the item the same as you did in REG mode. This will return it so that it does not affect the daily total. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sharp XE-A102 Till. Am trying to set department 8 as a refund department for my small business but am having no luck as I don't understand what keys I'm supposed to be pressing for the ABCDEFGH entry -...

Hi. No need to with the 102. Sharp created a void mode for removing sales. Just turn the key to void mode (the infinity symbol. I think it is fully counter clockwise). Then ring up the item that you want to refund just like you did in REG mode. then finsh with CASh if you are refunding in cash. This will create a negative sale which refunds that item back into stock. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Reprogram keys casio pcr-t265

Hi.
I'm afraid you didn't pay enough to get advanced functions. this machine is barely better than a calculator on a drawer. It has a fixed keyboard so you cannot switch keys on the keyboard, and it does not support the cancel function that you need to cancel a sale. You can refund the items by turning to RF mode and then entering the items again to reverse them, but other than that, you need to ditch it, and get one with features.
Bargain price machines come with very few extras.

MY REGISTER ONLY BEEPS NO MATTER WHAT YOU PRESS

Hi. It is warning you that you didn't finish before changing modes. Go back to where you were (prob REG mode) and finish the sale before turning to refund mode. You can never turn the key before finishing in any mode.

HOW TO REFUND

Hi.
You just press RF before the item and this will make it negative.
So you would press RF, then type price, then press item button (department) then refund method - usually CASH.

If you still have trouble, just let me know.
