SOURCE: I have a beko fridge freezer. I had an error code

I got the answer myself and thought I would share it.
The E4 code means that the auto defrost is not working. Call beko and tell them the code and they will tell you what part it is. I think the part number is 421445. It is a little black tube with two wires comming out. The part costs about £10. To fit the part you have to go into the feezer side of the fridge and carefully remove the white plastic at the back which is held with clips and one screw. To find where the part goes look for a long white fatish wire. The black fuse or thermostate is hidden in that. You will see where the wires go when you remove the old one. It is easy to do. Once you replace the part the error light will still be on but will go out after the fridge is back to being cold. Don't forget to replace the inside of the freezer when done! Hope this helps. John

SOURCE: fridge and freezer display shows ON and not

Hi, if the display is supposed to show the temperature of the fridge/freezer on the display then what appears to have happened is that the remote temperature bulb has come out of place. If you can get to it you may be able to put it back in place. You will have to start at the display and will see the temp. cable and follow it back to see where the bulb is now resting. If it is not exposed for you to be able to excess it, I would call asap from where you bought it as it is new and tell them about this condition! Keep me updated on this please.
Sincerely,
Shastalaker7
PS It would not be the compressors unless the unit is not cooling at all then you could have a serious problem.

SOURCE: I have a schreiber fridge

APM6855 Built in fridge freezer If Fridge is not cooling & freezer is ok then try a defrost by switching off for 24 hrs Then switch back on. it should be OK. If this does not work it is probably the door switch faulty , this should switch on the fan when door is closed. The fan is then controlled by thermostat sensor which switches fan off/on when required.

SOURCE: HJA6100 Fridge freezer - E8

Good day!

bugoy31.png

This is the small sensor fitted, as shown in the diagram as part 778 and highlighted, under the ice tray of the ice maker itself in Beko made American fridge freezer models. If this sensor goes faulty you would normally get the error message "E8". Whislt we can't guarantee that will clear the fault (there are other sensors that can fail in the freezer) it is likely to be the problem.

Thank you and good luck.

Hi i want to know the weight of the fridge HJA6100

First, I'm not a Representative of this company. (Beko?)
* Check your warranty. Call for support.

*** the following is for information only.***
* "IF" this is the unit then Net Wt; 117.5 Kg Gross Kg
* Specs; https://www.beko.co.uk/american-style-fridge-freezer-asp341-black-silver-stainless-steel#specification
* It appears this model is not made nor supported.
* seems to be a lot of ads for replacement fan parts.
* Possible that Beko bought out the original company.
* Manual(?); https://bekoplc.blob.core.windows.net/bekoupload/manuals/ASP341.pdf

My Hotpoint Fridge/Freezer only works with the freezer at the bottom and the fridge is fed from the freezer via ducting to the fridge at the top ---- can anyone tell me why the freezer works perfectly and...

There has to be something restricting the air flow to the fridge. If the fan is running blowing cold air into the freezer, then it should be cooling the fridge too. Empty out the fridge and freezer and use a blow drier to blow hot air into the duct work. There could be an ice blockage not visible in the duct work.

Fan is a big issue. New problem though.

good day!first and foremost, in most freezers, the highest freezing point is 7.in regards with the water dripping from the air vent hole, you have to minimize your your freezing setting to the middle.turn it to 3 or 4 freezing point.

Brand new refrigerator not cooling

ok what he was trying to say is that the freezer does all the cooling for both sides as nothing in the fride side cools and in order for the fridge to reach its proper temp the freezer should run any where between -0 to-10 then the fan in the freezer draw-es air from the fridge and cools it and circulates to the fridge now i need to know a few things is the compressor running is the freezer fan running do you see any frost on the back wall of the freezer section is the fan running in the back that's near the compressor to cool the condenser coils then i can better advise pleas hold my rating till we are done where did you purchase the unit
