Question about Janome Sewing Machines
Bobbin casing popping up at the front
Have you cleaned the bobbin holder recently? If not, that could be the problem. See here: https://www.janome.com/siteassets/support/manuals/economy-models/inst-book-hd-3000eng.pdf

SOURCE: bobbin case case keeps jamming
I am having somewhat the same problem with the exception that my needle did not break. I've cleaned and oil, but the bobbin case and projection positioned spring is not communicating to allow sewing to continue. The thread keeps jamming and the bobbin raises up the plate. So, what else am I to do?

there are a couple of things that come to mind.
Bobbin: wound with uneven tension. Try taking the bobbin, rewind that thread onto another bobbin and wind slowly. make sure the thread feeds onto the new bobbin evenly.
upper thread: catching on something or not flowing off the spool easily.
you're doing well, sounds like you consulted the manual and used your noggin, hang in there and let me know if this doesn't help. we can troubleshoot some more!

SOURCE: Bobbin problems
Are you using a size "A" (Class 15) bobbin? If you are using pre-wounds and they are not this size... they will jump around alot. The size of an "L" is very similar, but they are not as tall (height off the table when laying flat on the round side... like when sitting in the bobbin case.) There are tricks to using the thinner bobbins... See if you have a "taller" size "A"/Class 15 and if that corrects the trouble. email@example.com

From what I gather on other sites, your thread has to be threaded under tension.... You have to make sure you hear a click when your bringing your thread down to the bottom of the "arm". Also, I thought the bobbin case was rather loosely held in its place, I adjusted this by unscrewing the black plate and moving it over just a smidge. The bobbin is supposed to have some wiggle room, but it kept popping up and making the tiny adjustment seems to have done the trick....for now...
